A not improve trading platform and broker service. All functionality still work like it's in the 80s or 90s when computers haven't exist.

The worst broker in town with non-updated securities system and functionality. All documents are still needed to be done old-school (manually) and still claim themselves it's for "security reason". Try using other brokers app yourself like MooMoo SG, you know how behind you've fall in the market! Initially I did not want to shut down my account with Philip security, but after repetitive of horrible service by my agent, it really drives my nerve up the wall! Note to others: If you ever consider trading platforms, don't bother Philip Securities. The functionality and their self-claim "security" isn't comparable to other apps.

My first trading account was with Poems because my Grandfather uses it, and he recommended it to me. But when I did my first U.S trade I realize that all shares can only be paid in SGD, where they tries to earn from the currencies by forcing you to use their exchange. Even when I sold my U.S shares, they can only withdraw in SGD. Imagine how much money they taking yours out from the currencies exchange. When I realize Vickers is available, I immediately stop trading with it where other platform could link the trade account with multi-currencies account. Avoid this firm at all cost! It has never improved since the 1980s.

WORST Broker in Singapore that cannot be trusted. I am a long time customer with Philips Securities for more than 20 years. One of the most important requirement for financial institutions is TRUST. Phillips securities in handling trades and cases has shown that they cannot be trusted and is un-trustworthy. Phillips Securities in the earlier days used to be ok; but recent years, their handling of customers are very poor; Poor management and leadership, irresponsive and lack leadership and lack customer care. Very poor management that does not respond and the management push it to the lower tier staff to respond resulting in unreasonable delays and slow responds to trade problems; Poor customer experience; Poor handling of trade resolution. Resolutions were not protecting the interest of customers and resulting in losses to the customers. Does not honour the T+2 due date and charge you on T date itself. Feedback to them on the problem on T date but it was not properly handled and poor followup and long delays in resolution; Totally UNPROFESSIONAL. I do NOT recommend using Phillips Securities and POEMS and liquidating all my holdings with them. Looking at the following customer user review of this company, whenever someone gave 5 star review, the likes are just one or none. But when someone gave a 1 star poor review, it's supported by a lot of support and likes. This should tell you the negative sentiments and terrible experience users and customers had towards this company. I suspect they hired shills to prop up their ratings. Credits given to Nicholas of the call centre who provide followup calls. However the Filipino staff at the call center were not dedicated and no followup. Their poor treatment to long term customers and they did not value even long term customers who had been with Phillips Securities for more than 20 years. I am totally disappointed with Phillips Security and would be closing all my securities and unit trust holdings with them.
