Mr Lai is a knowledgeable and patient Physics tutor. He is passionate in teaching Physics and he tries his best to make his students understand concepts quickly and thoroughly. He also helps his students to have a good foundation in physics by giving them alot of practices. Mr Lai has helped me improve my Physics grade from a C5 in school to an A2 in the GCE O level examinations in a short span of about 5 months. Personally, I benefitted alot from Physics Academy and I would highly recommend this tuition centre. Besides teaching us only Physics, Mr Lai is also able to give us great advices of our future paths after secondary school. These tips had helped me tremendously and I'm sure it would be the same for anyone else. Thank you so much Mr Lai!

When I first joined Mr Lai's class, I was unsure of many Physics concepts and didn't understand how to answer many commonly asked exam questions. Mr Lai helped me to understand more difficult concepts which my teacher wasn't able to clarify in class and had online videos which allowed me to learn even outside class. The notes given were comprehensive and had many practice questions for me to test my understanding of the particular concept. Mr Lai was able to answer any questions that I had and explained the concept to me thoroughly. Thanks to him, I managed to get an A for my exams.

Mr Lai is a very helpful teacher ever since I started attending his physics tuition. He is very patient and always provides prompt answers to any questions we have. I remember struggling with physics and Mr Lai provided me a lot of resources and questions which helped improve a lot in the subject. I was able to work on my weak areas eventually gave me the confidence as Alevels approached. At first, I didn’t really enjoy physics as I was failing but Mr Lai’s lessons made physics more interesting and engaging which made learning enjoyable. Eventually I scored an A for physics at Alevels.

Mr Lai is a dedicated and very engaging teacher who never fails to make physics lessons interesting for us. Whenever I need help with certain physics concepts, Mr Lai would always use real life examples or experiments to help us understand these concepts. To enhance our understanding on some physics topics, Mr Lai would also test us on advanced questions to ensure that we are well versed in the topics. Through his lessons as well as carefully curated notes, it has no doubt helped me achieve consistent A grades throughout my secondary school life. Would highly recommend this tuition! :)

Physics academy is handsdown the best tuition i've been to! Before joining physics academy, I've always been uninterested in Physics and confused about the subject. However, after joining Mr Lai's class, physics has become one of my favourite subjects to study. Mr Lai is extremely good at breaking down and simplifying the complicated concepts in each topic and teaching the concepts from scratch. He helps students to visualise so that we do not just memorise but rather understand the concepts fully. During class, he will go through the important things that students need to know again and again especially when he knows that they will likely come out for Alevels. Mr Lai looks out for all his students and asks his students regularly if they understand what he's saying before he moves on to the next question. Not only that, he has a wealth of resources such as mastery practices/ top JC prelim papers/ additional physics worksheets to practise so that you will never run out of materials to study for! All in all, i would say he's a highly recommended and approachable tuition teacher and i've never regretted joining his tuition:) Managed to achieve A for my Alevels physics in the end ps Mr Lai gives out a lot of rewards (eg. cash/ipad) as well when you do well for your school tests and exams

Mr Lai is a teacher that is very passionate when it comes to teaching his students physics. Before i joined, I barely passed physics. However, after joining his classes, I felt more confident about the subject as his teaching style was very effective for my learning. Without him, I wouldn't have improved in my tests and examinations.

Physics Academy has changed the way I perceived Physics. From a failing student who once dreaded the subject, I have now comprehended the essence and joy of learning Physics. Mr Lai is a committed teacher who never fails to make Physics seem so interesting to learn. Apart from teaching the main syllabus, he shares with us real life applications of Physics which helped me with application questions and ignited my passion for the subject. The vast amount of resources coupled together with recorded video lessons enabled me to revisit earlier chapters and attain mastery in weaker topics. This has ultimately enabled me to score straight As for Physics throughout my 3 years with Physics Academy for my Year 4, JC and A Level exams.

In my opinion, I would like to say that physics academy is the best option for students who wish to improve in their physics. I say this because Mr Lai’s physics lessons are very interactive and he makes sure that the students understand the concept that he is teaching. He often conduct tests on specific topics to make sure students are catching up with his teaching. There are also online resources, lessons and practises that he will encourage students to do for practise and so that students get to know what type of questions to expect in their exams. In physics academy, students are given every single opportunity they can get to ace physics so without doubt, students should consider going to physics academy. Apart from physics, there is also chemistry and math tuition. Personally, I went for both the physics and chemistry tuition. All the teachers are experienced and provide us with necessary material for effective learning. In conclusion, physics academy is the best.??
