It is with mixed feeling that I revised my rating from 5 star to 1 star. Here is the reason: I bought 2 pre-owned cars from Platinum Motoring and the entire experience from viewing to closing was great! Services from Ian Oh and Jeremy were excellent. Very responsive, helpful and professional, lively up to the reputation of Platinum services. Great job! HOWEVER, the quality of the 2 cars after I took over were a major concern. (1) immediately, after taking over the first car and as I was driving home, the engine indicator showed overheating with coolant temperature in the red zone. It turned out the coolant reservoir was broken and leaking! Good that they towed my car away to fix it. (2) 2-3 days later, my second car’s Aircon completely broke down. Between the 2 cars, I had to go down to their ubi workshop multiple times for them to check and fix the problems. (3) the last straw was when I send my car to Autobacs to fix the wiper nozzles which by the way were leaking, they found out that 3 of the tires were installed outside in resulting in the tires badly worn after just 1 week of driving. In fact, as part of the deal, Platinum was supposed to replace all tires before I take over. I am doubting whether they did it or replaced with other old tires for me. Their Ubi workshop was really dirty and disorganized and as such, I am not surprise with the quality of their work. After sending my cars for them to fix the problems, the interior of the cars were terrible and I had to get them cleaned at my cost. The whole thing cost me more than $1k additional and when I ask for some form of compensation, the respond suddenly became sluggish with many excuses after excuses. I don’t know about you, for me while the services of the salesperson was good, quality of the car you bought will stay with you after that. You decide which is more important!

My friend and I got Vezel 2019 from Platinum Motoring in early Nov 2021. Initially I do have some issues during the transaction. But after discussion with the boss Mr. Frederick Ng. All the issues were solved peacefully. For example, Mr Ng generously gave us two years of warranty for gearbox and engine. Mr Ng and Darryl (who managed my case) supported us not taking loan from the bank though we need to pay a bit higher price. Overall, the experience was OK. Darryl is very patient and friendly. Should look for him if any of you want to deal with Platinum Motoring.
