The place has a nice vibes with a Korean-ish design with an indoor twist making it more comfortable with the aircon. The food was decent albeit slightly pricier than normal from Korean foods. Generally, you would come here for a chill time with friends drinking and finer foods rather than a proper meal with a Instagram worthy designed place.

Pictures may be nice, but beware! Side dishes were unappetising (kimchi too sour, radish had a weird aftertaste, vegetables were dry) and food was very expensive for it’s portion! We reserved our seat for 6pm, and they did inform us that we had to leave at 6.45pm, however they took 30minutes to cook! How to eat like that? ? Their next customers were already here (7pm slot) and the supposed manager seemed like he was pushing the blame to us because we have not finished eating. I would suggest to space out the reservations in the future since the cooking takes so long!! At 6.50pm they just gave us the bill even though we didn’t ask for it, as a means to chase us out! Lastly, Pancake wasn’t cooked well and tteokbokki was too spicy, and the servers knew too but didn’t do anything to compensate. Don’t be fooled by tik tok :(

Terrible is an understatement to describe the experience I had at this place. Extremely noisy with the (who seems to be) boss constantly shouting with his friends/customers(?). Annoying others but couldn't care less. Could hardly hear myself talk. They disregarded safety measures and were in groups of more than 5 and cross mingled with other groups who seem to be their friends. Atmosphere was so bad that I left with a headache. Price was exorbitant with extremely poor quality of food. Could have had 3 proper korean meals with decent quality at other restaurants. Chicken wings were undercooked, I could see and taste the blood. Hope I won't get a stomachache. Fishcake soup didn't taste like fishcake soup. Fishcake tasted like flour. Service was bad. Food was bad. Price was expensive. Only acceptable thing is the beer. Which frankly, is available anywhere else. Wouldn't even dine at this place for free.

Went for dinner and the place was super noisy. A man who looked like he was the boss was really loud, unaware of customers who found it annoying. He and his friends flouted safe management measures as their group had more than 5 pax. They also mingled with other tables of friends. As an in-charge, this is not only annoying but very irresponsible. The food was also bad. The fish cake was just flour and tasted frozen. Chicken wings had blood and were not cooked. The beer was its only salvation. Not worth and definitely not recommended.

Checked out the newest Korean themed bistro, @pocha_forest.sg. The main attraction for the bistro is the big red-tent aka pocha (short form for pojang macha 포μž₯마차 , which are commonly seen in Seoul. Those are street stall where office workers gather for a drink and snacks after work (until late at night). Pochagmacha first started in the 1950s near the Cheonggyecheon area in #Seoul. The culture continued even until today and pockets of pochagmacha can still be found in Jongno area or Yeouido. Pocha In A Forest serves mainly bar bites, some main dishes and mostly alcoholic drinks. Selection for non-alcoholic drinks is only limited to canned drinks (oolong tea, green tea, coke etc). What is worth a try is the dried pollack fish ($12). It is crispy (like keropok) and comes with a mayo dipping sauce. I like the swicy fried chicken wings ($18 for 6 mid-joints). The main difference between what we experience here is the luxury of being in an aircon space as opposed to being in an outdoor area if in Korea. Prices are before gst and service charge. P/s: Before making this visit, i was informed that the bistro does not take reservation. But when we tried to switch our seats, we were told that some seats had been reserved. Therefore, i am not certain if they have decided to accept reservation. It is best to enquire before heading down. The bistro was full by 7.30pm Follow me on IG: @joslovesfood for my food diary.

Found a very cool Korean food outlet. Look so much like Korea Street ?.. Tried their sampler rice? wine with 6 different fruit flavours. ❀️ their Kimchi rice? balls.. Very relax environment to chill and enjoy street food with air con ?? #msgreedysis #greedybuddiez

Small and cozy place to rest and relax. Food is good but sadly we could not get to sit in the tent. Or else would have taken better pictures. Great pictures for your IG too??
