Visited here for dinner because I had a lvlgrd card and the reviews here are pretty happening. Had their oyster and scampi which was not bad. Oysters are fresh and meaty.. good. scampi is fresh, good but I don't know how to appreciate it. Fish and chip was okay and smells nice. Can consider diversifying the type of fishes available if they wanna focus on this dish. As a personal opinion, marbled striploin beef was disappointing. Ordered medium rare but I believe it is closer to rare. Can improve Beer was okay, dester

We came here on a weekend night and the restaurant was quite empty, which is a shame because the food here was really delicious! My boyfriend ordered the wagyu beef burger and he loved itt, said that the mushroom and onion sauce went really well with the burger. The fries were also crispy and fresh and nicely seasoned. Portion was generous too. I ordered the beef rendang and it was honestly really good. I liked the belachan as it had a kick to it, pair it with the beef which was really tender. Loved it alot! Definitely a must try. Bonus was the waffles which were very good as well! I think the batter was specially made because I've never had such crispy yet chewy waffles before and it had such a good bite. Their ice cream were also really good, I'm not sure if it was homemade as well because it had a unique texture and the dark chocolate ice cream had brownie bits in it! Vanilla was good too, I felt like there were white chocolate bits inside the ice cream as well. Overall, will definitely come back here again to try their other dishes like their laksa and lamb kut teh... but definitely if I have space I'd order the waffles again, it's a must. The waitress was also very friendly and kept refilling my water haha I appreciate the service, and I sure hope more people will visit this restaurant because the food is really above average.

I had a LevelGround card so I decided to visit WOW Bistro to treat my friends to a nice birthday meal. WOW Bistro is located just 2mins away from Bencoolen MRT. Prior to my visit, I reserved seats via Quandoo and received a personalized WhatsApp message to confirm my reservation. Really appreciate this proactive gesture and it really did hype up the visit as I loved trying out new places to eat. Come actual day, the group arrives and we were seated quickly. The mains we ordered were the Prawn Aglio olio, Aglio olio Ai Fungi and the King Prawn Laksa. Sides were Truffle Fries, Curly fries with cheese and lastly, Lobster roll. The Cass beer was cold and refreshing. The sides were average, nothing really impressive. Had to add salt to the Truffle fries and couldn’t really smell the fragrance of truffle from them either. The lobster rolls were more like glorified Ngo Hiang. The pasta mains, though plated nicely, took a considerably long time to arrive. The Prawn Aglio olio is of a really small portion and was quite bland. My friend who had the King Prawn Laksa did not enjoy her dish much as well. While the Prawn Aglio olio had fat and juicy prawns, the prawn in the laksa was mushy. All in all, I felt that for the price paid, the food and experience did not really meet expectations. It’s disappointing as I really wanted to show support for the restaurant and was so excited to patronize it.

Nice restaurant with a pretty creative menu! A twist to some local dishes and worth a try. Although being the first day of CNY, it was still open with attentive service in spite of a lack of staff. Will come back again.

Came to support this Level Ground restaurant. A no-frills ambience managed by uncle chef and auntie. Unlike the presumably fake negative reviews, the food was really great - the steak was tender and juicy, and the laksa was fragrant and rich in texture. As we didn't eat seafood, the chef graciously helped to swap the prawns and clams for chicken in the laksa. Definitely restaurant quality. Serving is a little slow. Wish that more people would discover this gem.

Just WOW! Initially, I was sceptical having seen the rating of the restaurant as well as the bad reviews here but the experience I was given really puts it all to shame. The portion served is well worth every dollar and even shockingly generous when it came to their Lamb Shank ?. The quality and taste is right there amongst the top few and leaves you craving for more with every bite. *The restaurant is family-friendly as well, accommodating to my family of 5 and water is served. Hope to return soon so that I can write another review against the fake ones ?.

Listed a few places for NYE lunch and my friend got attracted by the food photo. While I had a good laugh by the fake reviews and the replies the owner made. And there we go! We enjoyed the rich, thick flavor and the ingredients are so fresh yum! The service was good too. P/s: it's conveniently situated near the MRT.

There is nothing wow about this bistro. The food takes very long to prepare and serve, which I guess seeing there could only be one staff handling the kitchen? The restaurant wasn’t even crowded to justify the longest wait of my life. The fries were mediocre and the pastas were okay, okay in terms they are edible but certainly not something that I would put in my mouth if it’s free. Because it’s not free and so expensive, I had to finish it. I saw a review talking about trying the King Prawn Laksa and all I can suggest to anyone that is dropping by to just order something else. Oily, plain and just nothing special. No words. Came because there was a discounted card that my friend got pressured to buy. They had one chance to entice repeat customers, but this is my final time trying here.
