Unclear instructions for customers at queues. Am waiting to renew my passbook but the staff said both queues on the left & right of the bank entrance are possible... then another staff came to tell a man in front of me to go over to the other side to queue ...wasting time & leg muscles...poor old folks

Reached @ 3pm to join queue for reservation to change new notes @ 3.30pm but was told that I was too early as they were still serving 2.30pm customer. Was advised to come back in 15 mins. Went back @ 3.15pm and was given a queue no. which required at least 30 mins waiting. Why wasn't I given the queue no. when I reach @ 3pm?

I was walking to the bank earlier to get issued a debit card and it was almost about to closed down. I reached there about 10 mins before it closes and moreover, as I am about to queue up, a middle aged lady with bob haircut approaches and told me that no other customers can queue up anymore, including me. That inconsiderate , excessive lady make me go to another posb branch in Tampines just because of a queue limit, when I was able to make it in time...

Long & multiple queues. Staff all seem to be confused all the time and never update which queue for what purpose. The staff lady outside was forgetful & kept asking everyone 3 to 4 times why we are visiting bank. Total 3 hrs from the time Joining the queue & finally leaving from the bank. For POSB standards this could be the worst bank in SG.

I have made reservation for 9.30 am to exchange for new dollar notes for CNY. There were at least 3 queues. Very confusing. There was a poster indicating queue here for new notes. Luckily I didn't join the queue, otherwise I would have joined the wrong queue. The queue was for those walk-in without reservation. I walked to the staff overseeing the queue to make enquiry. She told to wait. After waited for a few minutes, I approached her again. She lead me to another staff at the main entrance who checked my reservation email and issued me a queue number 3015. He told to wait for my number. After about 20 minutes, it was my turn to exchange new notes at counter 3. She exchanged notes for me but short of giving me the QR code gift sets that I have reserved. When I asked for the QR code gift sets, she referred me to her supervisor saying that they didn't bring down the gift sets for her to distribute to customers. Her supervisor asked me to wait while she went upstair to take the QR code gift sets. I left around 10 am. Important point to note is that never join any queue without making enquiry about where is the right place to queue and then make sure you get whatever you have reserved before leaving. Otherwise you could queue unnecessarily in the wrong queue and left without getting your QR code gift sets. Hope this review will help them to improve. Also to remind customers to enquire before queueing.

Terrible queue system need to improve and some counter not fully open, hence Q for hours. Covid period still so much ppl and nothing to be done to rectify it

Omg super unclear instructions! The staff told me that I can get my debit card immediately via the video teller (with shorter queue), as the branch counter queue was super super long. But I queued for about 40mins for video teller and the staff told me that I won’t be able to get my card immediately and will have to wait 3-5 days? I made my trip down because I need it asap or else I would have applied via ibanking!!! and so, I have to queue again to visit the counter to get my card. And honestly speaking, after waiting at both side, counter is still much faster (about 30+ mins), and they will definitely be able to help you! Not recommended to visit video teller unless the branch is closed.

Went to the branch @ 2.30pm to open account. Staff told to come back at 3.15pm. Reached branch on time n took a queue number. Already waited for 1.15 hour and still waiting for my turn. This review was penned while waiting to open the account. 2 counters open for account opening. Both counters took more than 1 hour to serve the customer and here iam still waiting to be served. If 1 counter take approx 1 hr then the branch can only open not more than 15 accounts per day. Its so inefficient n not productive at all.
