β β β β β This is the place that I won't missed every year, their originated place was along yio chu kang adjacent to the IMH in the 80s, due to the usage of the land by government, they shifted to current place which is more accessible to public. Nice and peaceful, worth the visit if u r nearby.

Based on my research of this temple. In the early days of its establishment in 1955, it was named "Puat Jit Buddha College" and it was based on the principle of "Being good and doing good and making the best of the world" and then it renamed "Puat Jit Buddha Temple." In the main hall, there is a statue of Buddha of Shakyamuni in the form of a 1.65-meter-high white jade stone. According to the history, this statue of Buddha has been for half a century since 1956. Guanyin Bodhisattva and Dzong Bodhisattva are enshrined upstairs This temple was completed in 2001 and the lease period is 30 years. The main purpose is for residents to study Dharma and chanting the Buddha.
