Q & M Dental Surgery (Redhill MRT)

In awe and impressed by the detailed-oriented Dr Soon Hwee Ming, her efficiency and professionalism. I'm one with dentophobia due to bad experiences back in the days. Dr Soon assured me all the way through. This is probably my first time walking out a dental clinic smiling wide even though I've got myself 3 fillings done, then scaling, and all in less than 45 minutes! Thank you, Dr Soon and team, for shining a different light and taking the aches away. Dr. Soon noticed a decay for my son and even went on to call to arrangement for an appointment for him so that he could be seen promptly before any pain developed!

Dr Soon is simply amazing! She’s extremely patient and attentive. I’ve never met a dentist that is as mindful to patient’s well being besides the treatment. She takes time to explain the procedure necessary for the most effective treatment, knowing how scary it can be for dental patient. Kudos. Regina, the receptionist, is just as amazing. She facilitates appointment to ease my schedule. She too takes time to detail the treatment costs. Highly recommend this branch. I’m confident you won’t regret visiting them.

Dr. Soon is excellent in her line of thinking, recommending options, explaining pros and cons. The receptionist / admin assistant at the desk, though, is one of the rudest people in the world. Like many feedback providers have pointed out. Both me and my wife have had the same experience from her. She needs to be either coached and change her mindset, or get out of there. I have been to other Q&M clinics as well, but this is the only rude one.

Was attended by Dr Soon who was very patient in explaining her diagnosis and options available (including pros and cons). Also shared transparently on estimated costs and subsidised options in government clinics. No hard selling. Treatment process was gentle and reassuring. Dr is bilingual. Great experience overall.

Worst dentist I have ever been to… 1. She barely cleaned my teeth The dentist took only 5min to clean my teeth. My friend experienced the same (so mine was not an isolated case) 2. The dentist was good at upselling though She persuaded me to get an X-Ray done ($100+) and it wasn’t needed at all. I asked my friend and she also experienced the same! The x-Ray wasn’t needed at all. After I went back, my teeth were still dirty (still had plague on my floss). I feel like I need to visit another dentist to do another round of scaling…

This branch outlet should REALLY change their receptionist. She’s not accommodating. She’s bossy and turns off patients in the rudest manner ever. My boy was having toothache since last night. I’ve calmly asked her if there’s a possibility of a dentist seeing my boy as it needed immediate attention as soon as we could. In fact, I brought him to see a doctor prior to the dentist due to the amount of pain he had. She started rambling that the clinic is full for today, and even if I wanted to wait, I must wait till afternoon and that is also not confirmed if we will get to see the dentist. Kept rambling that I should always call the dentist first to check if there’s a slot. She then went on to show me the appointment slots which I DIDN’T ASK FOR. She casually said “Oh, you can google for other outlets nearby too and call them.” She didn’t even ONCE asked how’s my boy who stood infront of her with a severe pain in his tooth. My boy is 9years old. Q&M SHOULD REALLY CHANGE THIS STAFF OF THEIRS. staffs who work in a service industry NEEDS TO BE EMPATHETIC and NOT SARCASTIC TO ANYBODY THAT ENTERS THEIR CLINIC

Great experience at Q& M Redhill! Dr Soon is very thorough and clear in her explanation, and is also very gentle with the scaling and polishing, which allayed my fear of visiting the dentist. The whole experience has been great and the receptionist is clear and polite. I would highly recommend Q&M Redhill and Dr Soon!

Highly recommended. Dr Soon is the best dentist I’ve met by miles. She is an immaculate professional - polite and easy to talk to, patient in her explanations, and very gentle in her treatments. I felt nothing during polishing & cleaning, and even when I had a decay filled. I could have fallen asleep if not for her updating me on what she is doing. I’m never seeing another dentist.
