Very rude uncle managing the cashier counter for bus. I was visiting and didn’t know that it was the same line for ticket and token; and made things worse by not having Small change. I woulda said something if not for his age. Doesn’t hurt to be nice! The taxi stand was really helpful in helping me to get small change.

3 buses which you can take to cross the causeway into Johor Bahru - SJE, Causeway Link & the public bus 170. SJE & Causeway Link are similarly priced although it's said that the latter has more frequent bus timings. The last time I took a bus from here, both the SJE & Causeway link buses were there so I opted for the former. Not recommended to take 170 as it stops at several bus stops along the way (the other 2 are express buses). Bus terminal is open air & can get really hot in the day, as well as a lack of shelter should it rain.

Took SJE at SGD3.30 to Larkin. The ride took us about one a half hour including the 20mins traffic jam on the bridge approaching Malaysia custom. After the Johor immigration you have to wait at the side near lane no.22. But I was told that the the buses usually don’t go inside the lane, ie they don’t do parking. So stand at the corner where you can also see CW2 stopping. Waited for 10 mins to board SJE again after the JB immigration. The bus ride was ok but the sales person, all the uncles, at the ticket counter was very rude. Being first time here, I asked how long would it take. One uncle scolded me and said he doesn’t know because he is not the bus driver. SJE, please improve your customer service. This is 21st century. Else don’t wonder why your bus occupancy is only 40% full.

Easy to take bus from Singapore to Johor. The yellow bus is great but sometimes the frequency is really bad.

I don't understand why the ladies' toilet at this bus terminal, the cleaner on duty at 8.20am 7 June (Tue) is an uncle, it's super uncomfortable to see a male in female toilet seriously, when I wanted to wash my hands, he was blocking my way then he stood still & stared at me in his grumpy face, I replied him I want to wash my hands at the basin.
