★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite fried prawn mee stalls. Stewed fry with real prawn broth so noodle is very tasty. The balachan chilli is good too. Uncle is almost double bent frying for so many years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ May 2019. Looking for supper after watching Avengers End Game. With limited choices at 10pm, i decided to try this stall.
At $5.50, it was reasonable by portion with 3 large prawns and sotong.
It was satisfying on the palate too. Nothing too wrong to complain about.

No wok hei, tasteless stock, stale/overcooked prawns and squid, run of the mill sambal chilli.
It's baffling how he could take so long to cook such a bland rendition of HKM, not worth the 20 min wait for sure.
