★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thought it was a place for all baking needs. Boy am I wrong. Loved the octopus ai bought. Had it for 2 meals. Just grilled with butter and served with homemade mash potatoes. Will shop there again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is quite a big shop and slightly differs from the other Phoon Huat stores as it also has a fresh sushi counter and butchery inside, besides the usual baking goods, sauces, butter and cheeses, and accessories.
You can also find big ticket items like KitchenAid and Kenwood mixers, as well as walnut serving boards and house brand Dutch ovens and casserole dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried their meat cuts first time. The guy at the meat counter even gave me some pointers because I bought some lamb cutlets, he gathered the bone can be a challenge. I followed his tips and they were cooked to perfection! I don’t need to eat out anymore!
The dark bits on the photo are herbs and pepper.
