★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love t stay here because of its cleanliness and peaceful surroundings. Though it’s a bit far from the MRT Station, the streets were so clean, safe and peaceful you can walk even late at night safely. T’was a good exercise tho. The Indian who talked to me in the train was right that is very peaceful and safe. I slept and rested well after those tiring walks and travels. A very comfortable budget hotel. The staff are so friendly. Water, coffee, towels and soap were provided. Next time I go back to this hotel, I don’t need to bring towels anymore. ? Very recommendable to future tourists. Proud to be there. Thanks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A terrible experience I have encountered with the management! Treating the guests like "criminal" keep calling the room to make payment despite knowing that the guests are resting. The ways they talk are really unprofessional , doesn't seems like they are properly trained in hotel management. They never even offer whether the guest need any room makeup service for even once even though staying there for a week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall, would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Pros: cheap, convenient location with many good restaurants in a walking distance. Close to many bus stops as well.
Cons: extremely dirty and has bad musty odor in the room. There are so many bugs on the wall. We asked help to do the bug control, but the results were not effective. Also, they are lacking in room cleaning staff, there are no daily room cleaning service available. Perhaps 2-3 days there will be someone come in and take out the trash, change towels and that’s it. There are so many budget hotel with higher quality than Zen rooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever to book hotel in Singapore. Stated in website it can be refund yet it cant be refundable. Email to their management yet didnt get their reply. Called them , the aunty that pick up the call sound so impolite to answer my call. For those who want to book hotel in Singapore, better to avoid this hotel, lousy customer service only act fast when receive payment ?????

Booking made via online & was already paid.
Upon reaching the hotel, receptionist mentioned that there is no room available despite the payment made. Gave the excuse on the system glitch & has given out room to transit hour patrons.
Was about to try the revamped place & review but disappointment welcomed me.
