Have been here many times since it opened. Has always been good. Prob the best K pork BBQ, not to say the beef is not good. A must try is their grilled chicken. But the hidden gems includes other dishes on the menu. Especially the bossam. Best in SG.

We ordered bbq pork and chicken, but we have no idea how to cook it. The waiter was very nice to help us cook the meat. Surprisingly, no oil was added and the meat did not stick to the pan top. Also came with sides, soup and vegetables. Sides and vegetables are refillable. Very authentic Korean food. I like the kimchi. Food is reasonably priced too. Overall, it is a very nice dining experience for us.

Food was great, and service even better. While a piece of our pork was overlooked (and was burnt in the process, we are kbbq noobs, weren't sure if we should be touching the meats since the servers were cooking for us), the boss promptly replaced with a new piece and attended to the cooking personally. We were very impressed with the recovery already, and then we were suddenly presented with a portion of the steamed egg (which was fantastic) on the house. The pork & chicken set for 2, the banchan were very tasty - hubs loves the kimchi even though he's not a big fan of kimchi. The fried chicken was average, we would try other ala carte dishes when we next return. We were very glad for the prompt service recovery. A return visit is a must.

Away from the usual Tanjong Pagar, this is a surprise find. Top notch service and the food is fantastic. Although the side dishes are limited, nevertheless they taste good and free flow! Meats are of good quality and the staff will help to grill them, as if you are an invited guest to their home and they are the host. Highly recommended!

Pancake seafood - worth it! Almost ordered another set. Beef and pork set - pork was alright but the beef was to die for. Set also comes with banchan (you can help yourself to free flow) and broth (we got miso tasting soup) Good selection of drinks but too bad I cant drink. People were nice! Definitely 5 stars.

70% of the quality for around half the price of the Tanjong Pagar K-BBQ places. Most importantly for me, the meats were of good quality - tender, juicy and not fibrous. Banchan was alright, not the best. I didn't like the kimchi - tasted like the lower end of the mass produced kimchi spectrum. Ambience is of the noisy and smokey sort. You definitely will smell like k-BBQ after very short time there. Service was generally ok but on this Fri night, the gas-fired charcoal grill was always too hot, and staff had left the meat on the grill and never returned (just once). The grill is not the kind that you can leave the meat on the sides after cooking. For the price, the overall experience was pretty ok. Can try. Might return some day.

Great Authentic Smokeless Korean BBQ restaurant in the heart of town. Beef well marinated and juicy .Pork belly was done just right by the friendly staff. Good value with ambience and cosy place for lunch or dinner. Reservations recommended!

Visited this Korean BBQ restaurant through recommendation. I certainly exceeded my expectations in terms of the food quality. We ordered the BBQ meat platter which comes in Pork & Chicken, Beef etc. The meat was fresh, they cook the food for us. It’s comes with free flow of side dishes 4 - 5 variety. The BBQ food is good. Similar to what you would expect from a Korean BBQ. What is exceptional however, it’s their cooked food! It was so delicious, it changed my impression of Korean food totally as I was never a massive fan. For cooked dishes, we ordered the Seafood Pancake which is a MUST-TRY! First off, this pancake is huge portion, but it’s light and crispy. Not the least bit starch as what one would normally expect from a seafood pancake. You will chew into crunchy fragrant bites of crisp and generous octopus chunks with spring onions accompanied by the sweet chili dipping sauce. It’s the best I’ve ever had. Next we also ordered spicy chicken with rice cake dish - it can be quite spicy (I have high tolerant of spice) but it is very well done - a good balance of sweet with spiciness and the rice cake absorb the essence of the sauce giving it a chewy tangy flavor. We also had the seafood tofu soup - it is tasty but I find it too oniony, and the prawn they use is so tiny - like little shrimp. Their Korean fried chicken was good but not wow. I’ve had better. We prefers the crispy over the one coated in sauce as the crispy skin turn soggy rather quickly. We also had the raw marinated crab - which you must call ahead to reserve in advance. Honestly, we didn’t find the crab super fresh. Overall, the food is good, service is nice but they are certainly overwhelmed despite being quite heavily staffed for a small restaurant. We had to wait a long time for the check. The service was intermittent due to the staff being very busy. It is advisable to call ahead for reservation as they are usually over-booked everyday. Best time to come is around 5pm to skip the dinner crowd.
