β β β β β The meat are really fresh, nicely bbq by their staff?
The cold noodles are prepared by themselves, one of the closest you can get without flying to Korea.
Give it a try??

β β β β β Such a disappointment! Overpriced and food was really bad. The meat was so badly overcooked and charred we wished we had done the cooking ourselves. My hubby brought me there to celebrate my birthday and both of us were so disappointed.
Please see the pic I've uploaded. Look at how grey that oil is. U can imagine how horrible the meat is. Beef brisket totally tough even though everyone knows how thinly sliced they are. I have videos of how they fold the charred beef on the inside so u don't see it. Pork belly was so tough it felt like I was chewing gum.
We spent $150 and it was so not worth. Utterly disappointed because this was not the standard when we came previously.
Pajeon was sooooo oily it was like I was eating soaked paper towels. Every mouth was just oil squishing out the Pajeon.
As for the steam egg, I couldn't understand putting raw roe atop the hot steam egg. I practically was watching the raw roe getting cooked before my eyes on the eggs. So this was not something I appreciate.
Soondubu soup from other restaurants always come bubbling and still boiling. Here it felt just like soup spooned out from a big pot. Moreover, it just didn't taste great. Not flavourful despite having seafood in it. Beef broth with no beef and didn't even taste like a broth.
Iced barley tea was soooo diluted we could taste the "plain water" literally where u actually smell the "chlorine" tap water smell.
Conclusion: NOT RECOMMENDED. Our humble neighborhood Korean food stalls serve better food.

β β β β β After drooling over the Netflix series βKorean Cold Noodle Rhapsodyβ, I developed a major craving for said dish. So when a friend recommended I get my fix at @changkoreanbbq, I headed over for lunch with my husband.
To my happy surprise, the restaurant offers a Set Lunch Menu. It didnβt take a second for me to pick the Marinated Prime Ribeye Set for us both ($43++ per pax) after clarifying that the Korean cold noodles was a carb option. Thereβs also a Baked Black Cod Set for $48++ for those who prefer fish or donβt want grilled meat.
Almost immediately after our orders were placed, the banchan arrived. By the way, those multiple small bowls of kimchi, sesame oil-marinated beansprouts and other Korean small bites are refillable.
A large plate with two portions of the marinated ribeye came next. The staff didnβt hesitate to help with the grilling upon request. Although I wouldnβt describe the meat as super premium, it was very well marinated, tender and tasty. We were quick to merrily stuff our faces with the piping hot slices of beef after wrapping them in the perilla leaves and lettuce provided (also refillable).
The lunch set includes Pajeon, the Korean spring onion pancake with mixed seafood and meat. Theirs was extremely crispy - pretty much a fritter actually. It got our stamp of approval.
The dish which had drawn me to Changβs Korean BBQ in the first place, the βMyul Naengmyunβ (buckwheat noodles in cold beef broth), was bigger than expected for a half-portion. So much so that I struggled and failed to finish. But enjoy it immensely I did. The soup had a certain purity and delicacy about it. And after stirring in mustard and splashing on a little vinegar, was especially irresistible.
Since my husband preferred something hot, he decided to go for the rice plus soya bean paste soup instead of the Naengmyeon. He was satisfied with his hearty serving of bubbling soup chockfull in tofu, vegetables and beef.
For dessert, we each received a scoop of chocolate ice-cream and a cup of chilled pumpkin tea.
Verdict: Good value-for-money multi-course lunch thatβs really tasty and filling.

β β β β β Located in Holland village, this restaurant is part of a historic building.
Lots of choices of Korean food. Bibimbap, Pancake, and Kinchee Soup were good, generous portions.
Good service by all staff.

β β β β β The BBQ beef and cold noodles are the best items we ordered!! The seafood pancake is cripsy while I prefer the non cripsy type. The reatuarant is well ventilated, it did not leave a BBQ meat smell on our clothing which I would really mind if I am not going home right away :D

β β β β β Best Korean BBQ is Singapore. If had a spacious indoor tables, private room and outside tables. Staffs can grills the meat for you with charcoal. Seafood pancakes and cold noodles are my favorite.

β β β β β Well accomodating to our last minute reservation request! Food was awesome! Except that the cold noodles seems to be different from the usual type outside.
And seafood pancake is better than kimchi pancake. Hehehe.
Lastly it will be good if they can be fast and efficient in topping up side dishes!

β β β β β Service by the staff was exceptional. It may be cause we were seated outside, it was slightly hard to catch the service crew's attention. But when we can catch their attention, they will give you their full attention. Kudos to that. Food was also wonderful and when we talk about Korean food, we will automatically go back at Chang. ??
