BEWARE BEFORE HIRING REVOSEAL: I don’t recommend hiring Revoseal for any sort of waterproofing work. I hired them to fix a leak from my condo unit to neighbour downstairs. Their representative Kenneth sent a team for assessment of the leak and suggested to do Polyurethane Grouting in the ceiling of impacted unit below mine to stop it. Work completed in Dec 2018, six months later owner of unit below mentioned recurrence of leak damaging their cupboard. I requested Revo-Seal to investigate it and turns out leak never stopped, so they did a next round of grouting, which leaked again in next 4 months. I called Revo-seal again, they did a re-grouting third time and leaked recurred fourth time again after 5 months or so. By now, the cupboard in unit below was completely dismantled and everyone could easily see that grouting isn’t the right solution, it’s just shifting the leak point and not stopping it. I requested revo-seal to find the root cause of the leak and fix it and their response “Since it’s already more than a year from the day of initial fix (Dec 2018), the warranty is over and they can’t help any further” I believe if the leak never stopped throughout the year, warranty never period never started. So yes, in all, I had a big argument with neighbour downstairs because the leak damaged their cupboard and I had to hire a “Real Professional” who identified the root cause and fixed it for me. Revo-Seal’s assessment and subsequent remediation’s were all good for nothing but stress. I also lost $1650 to revo-seal for NOT fixing the leak.
