Great thanks to Jeffery Lim for spending the time, giving all the professional guidiance and coaching on the ways to my self discovery which will lead to a new enjoyable career! Sessions were casual and I feel very comfortable in expressing my thoughts. The company is also conveniently located @ Tanjong Pagar MRT Station with plenty of choice for lunch.

I researched and connected with a few career management companies and consultants before deciding on Right Management and Tina Ang. And I was not disappointed. I cannot speak highly enough of the combination of assessments, resources/tools and guidance that was provided by Tina Ang. She brings with her a positive demeanour, practical advice and insight into career assessment, job search and preparation, personal branding and networking in the current market.

I wish to say a very big thank you to Augustine my Rights Mgt consultant, who worked with me closely throughout my transition. I was feeling a little lost and the great guidance and assurance really helped me set myself up for the next career move. Many thanks to Augustine, who went beyond the call of duty and guided me with professionalism. He is truly an asset to his organisation. We need more heros like him around to be our North Star. This also reminds me that there are many people in our midst who require help and don’t judge a book by its cover and support one another as Singaporeans and fellow workers. This is the first time I learnt that there is a service provided by companies like yours to facilitate individuals undergoing transition, especially during this time (or at least the past many months in the midst of the pandemic). I was doubtful how much help I can get from these outplacement services. I was expecting standard items like how to write a good CV, interview prep, personality profiling and job search techniques. Very standard service offers. I was wrong! After speaking to Augustine (we had hour-long conversations and it is common to stretch for up-to-2hours at times), I realized that there were a lot more areas that I am being coached. These include mindset changes, adaptability and agility (he was preparing me to transit to a self-employed model as I was preparing to do my own gig, licensing exams were delayed due to the covid) and I had to switch to seeking for full time work - back to seeking for employment! He took the time to help me transit every step of the way. He also linked me up to the career advisors at IBF for industry specific engagements (hint: I have been in the Commercial Banking space for more than 15 years already!) and expanded a wider network to leverage on. I now work for a fintech company. My banking skillsets are still needed in my new role in corporate finance and trade. Furthermore, it was a career upgrade for me in this new role taking on a leadership position. Augustine even walked me through to prepare for my “first 90-days” at the new environment. I was truly grateful. Each step of the way, It was carefully deliberated, in-depth, analytical and yet creative! It was not just touch-and-go. I am grateful and humbled by this journey with him. Such work is labour-intensive (plenty of personal touch) and technology cannot replace such type of role. As an overall view, this was indeed very meaningful. I hope those of us who are impacted by restructuring, the #Midcareer professionals out there, to seek the help and assistance given by the company. Take actions...no matter how small these actions and add-on the expert guidance by consultants like Augustine are essential to help navigate and the survive this "BIG" career transit. I've got retrenchment by end of Dec 2021 which is one of the most difficult times of my life. I love working in Singapore but since I'm a foreigner, finding a job during COVID-19 and during some last months of the year was significantly tough and pressure. I've been through a couple of interviews but some how due to a fact that being a foreigner has been one of the reasons I've got rejected despite good interviewing results. I came to Right Management with desperation and was introduced to Jeffrey Lim. He guided me all the process from CV revision, job scouting to interview prep etc. with the true insight of the recruiter/hiring manager and helped me realized that why a great CV doesn't mean a successful CV. But the most important thing I've earned from him is the confidence because Jeff helped eliminate negative thought by emphasizing the importance of having a foreigner in Singapore and helped me how to navigate the right job in the right direction for this situation. From there, all the positive energy came back and soaked me up to move forward. Jeffrey also shows a great attitude by being almost available whenever I need his advice to prep interviews. I do appreciate his seniority and strategy in the way that instead of jumping into in how to answer question by question, he showed me the bigger picture and key precious principles to kill any question that I might have. He then followed up with me after interview rounds to get real time learnings for the next ones. Mid of Feb, I've got a job and I've got a friend too, and I cant thank enough Right Management and Jeff to help me come over these hurdles. Esp., Jeff who got both capability and virtue, a great asset to any consulting firm. It has been an insightful career transition journey with Right Management, and I'm glad to have Augustine to guide me along. He's very experienced and helpful in providing practical advice on job searches, interview tips, and transiting into a new workplace. I've learnt a lot from him and appreciate all the efforts and resources received.
