As a resident in this area I seldom buy from this stall. Food is ok, not the type you'll look forward to eat, but is good enough to fill the stomach. I personally will never buy from them, but my kids like the chicken rice. But be warned, the staff is extremely rude. I would never patronize this stall if not for the kids.

Totally disappointed!! Bought 1/2 roast duck for $21. As what mentioned above the meat is hard, in addition it taste with 'spoiled' oil on skin and meat, after 2 pieces decided to discard the entire to the dustbin!! any how chop the meat as well, some pieces were stick together, show no pride at all, this is the worst roasted duck I had ever tried, will NEVER go back again. Please don't waste your money...

There is a handler at the 59 Marine Terrace outlet who is extremely rude to customers. He is tall and plump. When I ordered for a takeaway, he pretended not to hear me even after I repeated my order several times and even walked away to the other stalls to chat with other people, throwing the task to an elderly helper next to him. When I asked him why is he behaving so poorly he arrogantly shouted "我喜欢“ which is saying he does what he likes as the stall is under him and told me not to come again. I have been to many hawker stalls but this is the first time I've encountered such a rude and inconsiderate vendor. Absolutely abysmal CS.

Char Siew was a little tough, but the Roasted Duck was super juicy and came with a lot of skin. Will definitely come back again to try the Premium Fatty Char Siew.

The roast pork, roast duck and Char siew are all excellent. I have discovered this place by accident about a year ago and have been coming back. They have the taste and standard of those I had in Hong Kong before. I have not been treated rudely so far. I can understand that staff can be rude at times as they work long hours and just trying to have quick turnaround for customers. Afterall, I am sure they have not been trained on good customer service. What is important for me is to enjoy the good food!

I am shocked at the poor rating of 2.1. I had dinner there yesterday, the char siew was well roasted and tasted great, the roast pork was excellent too. My wife ordered the hor fun kway teow which was very tasty. The portions are just nice, unlike many places that raised their prices and reduced the portions. Just imagine a bowl for $3.30 I give Rong Kee 4.2

I’m actually VERY VERY shocked that this stall’s rating is so horrid. I’ve been a customer for almost a year and I have never experienced anything negative from them. I patronise this stall about once a week when I WFH. I don’t understand what those people who commented about the customer service are expecting. Do you expect a warm greeting 欢迎光临, the staff to usher you to your seat and place a napkin on your lap? It’s a coffeeshop and wanton mee/roasted pork rice is only $3.30 There is always a queue during lunch/dinner and it’s about 15mins waiting time. Uncle/aunty always say 來要什么? And when they fulfilled your order it’s always 來你的. Portion wise is quite filling for an average person, taste wonderful. For wanton mee: 3 small wantons, some veggies (depends on luck- sometimes might get leafy or stalks ew) and a good portion of Char Siew. For Char Siew Siew Yok rice, Siew Yok is always very crispy. I don’t recommend to add the black sauce because it’ll over kill the taste and will be very salty. Almost all the stalls around the area have increased their price (+50cents or $1) due to “inflation” or GST hike even though it’s not even implemented yet lol But RongKee kept its price and doesn’t even charge additional for dabao. Unless you’re self entitled and pampered, Rong Kee is one of the stalls to grab lunch/dinner if you’re in the area.

Tried their recommendation at the counter. The dish doesn’t look like the marketing photo, but the taste was quite tasty. We actually ordered the $4.80 version (added more meat). The only reason why we didn’t give 5 stars is because they gave 3 half sized dumplings (deceiving) whereas the marketing photo showed allegedly full sized dumplings.
