My husband and I went to the clinic for a 48-hour PCR pre-departure test. It was our first time and everyone was so kind and very professional from the phone call to the follow-up results, including the test itself. We even got a WhatsApp message when the results were available which put our minds at ease. The results were sent to us on the same day (appointment in the morning). Thank you Marine Parade Clinic!

The negative reviews are true. I went to the clinic as the usual clinic I went was closed. Receptionists were rude & impatient. The young Doctor was quick to diagnose to move on.. probably bcuz its lunch time. They dont asked for your TraceTogether checkin; i showed them. No need temperature screening as well. Pretty upsetting trip here.

Mr Kong had been my family doctor since 1980s and he has always portrayed himself as a caring physician. On Sunday 15 Aug 2021 I decided to see him for some recent medical occurrences that I recently encountered - intermittent headache, heart palpitations and stomach pains. I only got to the point of explaining about my throbbing head pains, to which I expressed concern since I've heard of cases of headaches leading to brain aneurysms and asked if there was a need to have a full body check up or do a blood test. At that point I also mentioned about experiencing heart palpitations. Mr Kong's reaction shocked me next. He curtly told me that if I wanted to get a blood test done, I need to go to A&E, and passed a comment "if you're not working today, what makes you think the lab is working?" I was taken aback, as I had not insisted for the blood test to be done immediately on the same day and was only enquiring if there was a need to consider it. He then impatiently asked if I wanted to be referred to A&E, in which waiting time could be 10-12 hours and of course I turned down the offer. I was completely stunned by his outburst and did not know how to react further. The difference during this visit was that I was under company panel, and maybe he thought I was trying to fake my illness or get an MC since it was a Sunday, which I did not. I am appalled by the treatment I received by someone who has been my family doctor for over 40 years. That will be my last visit to this clinic, since the person who attended to me is not fit to be respected as a doctor.

My mum reached 5min after the close and she was suffering from a visible allergy where her face and tongue were swelling up. The nurses turned her away instead of regarding this as an emergency!!!! You need to retake the Hippocratic oath

Bad service. The staff isn't friendly and even before I could explain my situation, they hurriedly jump into conclusion. Like hello, my parents is positive and the clinic is the only clinic that offers swab test on Sunday. Apart from that the doctor is very rude, not friendly to the patients. If their service prolong like this, I reckon the clinic would stay on for business.

Fully Agree with all the negative feedback and comments regarding the work ethics of the young Dr Kong. Brought my girl for a severe stomach pain problem but he didnโ€™t even check or press her stomach; and just issued us with the typical fever/pain, diarrhoea and vomit medicine. In actual fact, my girl was diagnosed with a ruptured appendix a day later by KKH which required emergency surgery! The whole ordeal was so traumatising for her and she suffered an additional day of unnecessary severe pain. It might be a different story if this clinic Dr was able to conduct a more thorough check.

I have visited the clinic various times, staff are very polite and very professional. I was also surprise to learn the staff are not training nurses but the work and services they provided like a professional nurses. Dr. Kong is very patient doctor and he listen to your problems and advise you and recommend the treatments accordingly. I have seen him open the door for an elderly patient and bring and carefully hold her to the sitting / waiting area I'm happy with the overall services...??????โญโญโญโญโญ

Frankly, every place sure got good and bad! I agree with many, the service staff from this clinic is high and mighty 10 years ago. The Malay lady, I think she is the senior very rude and always black face. never smile at all so all other staff follows. I stopped going because of them being rude. However, I went back after 15 years. the same staff were there, and the black face Malay senior staff is still there( i think this will be her job until her last breath on earth la). I'm surprised to see her smiling unlike 15 years ago. Dr Kong is good but never like the son. He looks at you very quickly and almost never listens to you. He will brush you off. He might be a doctor and quick to know about the illness we, as laymen, trying to explain but I wish he is more patient like his father.
