★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst nightmare i have encountered
This doctor ( although i wouldnt call her a doctor) is not a legitimate at all
Im actually surprised how mount elizabeth hospital allowing her to practise there ??
Her office smells foul . Her equipments are not hygenic and the only thing she did is trying to rip our money off . She asks to do 1000 sgd and we paid because we thought it was serious then when i called she said that she cant find our file .
Aftet calling her repeatedly
Finally she found the file and ask us to come to her office.
She was very rude while explaning to us and she said that we need to do another treatment she rudely asked for another 200 sgd cash . I believe she does not report her tax. Because everything is asked in cash and no valid receipt .
She scared us saying my girlfriend has a chance of cancer where when I asked other doctor they did’t agree with the diagnose.
I am very disappointed by her. A doctor supposed to help and treat her patient not rob them in a broad day light.
Please never visit this mischevous woman . Not only she is not legit she is also not proper to be a doctor
I will report her to the hospital for her conducts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience when I went to her with my wife for our first check up after discovering we are pregnant. Told my wife that the ultrasound scanning did not detect any sac and that the test that we took off the rack was a false positive, leaving my wife devastated. Proceeded to ask us to use the test kit that she provided which showed positive as well and told us it was probably too early to show on the ultrasound. What kind of doctor does this? She told my wife that her cervix was not normal and when my wife asked her what she meant by not normal, she said, it means it's abnormal. If you wish to have the worst experience of your life and feel like wasting your money like I did, please feel free to go to her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 1* reviews are accurate. I encountered the same. Over diagnosed me and did not inform me that the issue in most cases goes away by itself and caused me a lot of mental distress.
Clearly in it for the money and also terrible book-keeping practices because they do not keep copies of their patients results??
Lastly, had an IUD fitted incorrectly which was a very costly process to fix.
Highly recommend you stay away from this practice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have just visited Dr Rosalind Chong 3 times over the last 2 months and I would strongly discourage anyone from going to her. She's so obviously a money grubbing woman who cares zilch about her customers - even putting her coldness and poor bedside manners aside, you REALLY don't want to rely on an obgyn who only sees you as $$$$$.
My sorry story is - I got her name when I called Mount E to ask for any obgyn for a pre-pregnancy checkup. During the checkup she felt cold and clinical. She was extremely particular about asking that we "don't shift her sitting chairs" when we were in the clinic. The bill came up to close to $900 for an ultrasound and a PAP smear, and some consultation. not cheap. she also does not take credit cards without a 3% surcharge. That should have sent a warning sign to me. Her receptionist is also slightly awkward and seems very heckled by her.
On my second visit, I did an ultrasound (repeat of the first one, to get a second view - at her suggestion), and two injections against cervarix (an anti-cancer vaccine) and Hep-B. This bill came up to $730. During the ultrasound she left the device inside me and walked away for a bit, and it dropped to the floor with a clang before she realised. Extremely uncomfortable all round. Her "cold fish" demeanour became even more obvious this time. Someone called her when I was in her office, and she picked it upbefore realising she was being kept on hold. She opened the door and yelled and lectured her recep at this point for 5 minutes (ironically, on "not to keep a patient waiting in her office") - all while I was in her office, doing... well, yes, WAITING. she also confided in me that the patient on the phone had some serious problem. I mean, TOO MUCH INFORMATION.
My third visit was the worst. My husband and I are covered by a comprehensive insurance plan, which does require a signed claim form by the doctor each time we claim under it. This time, the money-grubbing Dr Chong refused to sign this without charging me for it. She said the previous two times she had done it for "goodwill". When I expressed incredulity (and please bear in mind all she needs to do is to sign it, because her recep will give me the clinic chop, and the filling up of the one-liner i.e. "Cervarix injection, Dose #2" on the form), she claimed that this claim form constitutes a formal report by her, and she needs to charge for reports. Her opinion of her precious "time" for signing the form... SGD50. On top of the SGD220 injection she has just administered. NO other doctor in Singapore has ever asked us for money to help to sign a claim form - EVER.
At this point I have resolved never to deal with her again. This unprofessional, money-hungry, and callous b1tch of a doctor has billed me close to SGD2,000 at this point - and she still wants to milk her customers for SGD50 to sign and stamp a Claims form. Her attitude was just so poor and negative that it affected my entire afternoon.
My only relief is that I am not yet stuck with her and I can STILL CHANGE DOCTORS... THANK GOD.
Please stay clear of this cold-hearted, money crazy, and sub-par excuse for a doctor. She is just the worst and she does not clear an iota about your well-being. At the end of this nightmare, her receptionist was basically wailing at me - "oh no oh no I should have taken payment from you first because the doctor told me it's payment before injection, I can't inject you without taking payment first". It is the WORST feeling to be subject to this sort of disgusting behaviour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is really worst women specialist I went in my life. It can be known as “black shop”. There are no any assistant in the reception counter and the environment was very dark. I think the doctor want to save the cost so she switch off the aircon and light. Doctor are unprofessional(please refer the receipt attached below, how come the date is 30.08.21?) Please don’t go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm actually going to take the time out and write this review, to hopefully save a lot of people a lot of money. To put it succinctly; She. Is. Terrible.
I went in there for a check up and I came out crying with her making me feel like an infertile cervical cancer bomb. After making a couple of frantic calls to my family doctors, I find out that pretty much everything she said is common among all women and that she's only trying to push tests, vaccinations and scans to have my wallet empty. Nothing was drastically wrong down there!
Also, while I was inquiring on what multiple follicles could mean etc.. She got impatient and said that I was wasting her time and that her patients were building up. My consultation was not longer than 15 minutes, there were 2 patients waiting. The doctors that I've dealt with have a bit more tact and manners than this lady.
Oh AND wait for the judgement passed on your sex life, it's priceless.
Net bill: 516$ (To put things into perspective competitive hospitals charge consultation feed between 80$-150$, Our Lady charged a whopping 200$)
Experience: Just horrible
I wouldn't wish for my worst enemy to chance upon this lady's professional practice. Please please please don't go there, her easy appointments and availabilities is a CLEAR SIGN that no one wants her, do not be lured in by that.
I'm surprised the hospital hasn't kicked her out yet! All I see are very bad reviews on her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything about the clinic smells and is unhygienic. It feels like the towel she uses to cover the patients with is not clean and there are always tools piled up everywhere. The place is dusty and dark. All she cares about is money. She tried to rush me into a surgical procedure which I didn’t need and got very mad at me when I told her that I consulted my family doctor at home who said we should wait. She called my doctor’s opinion rubbish and said we were wasting her time. When I asked her for a printout of the ultrasounds she did for me or a report she said she didn’t save or print them. I’ve been to another doctor since then who has properly diagnosed my case in one visit and is recommending reasonable treatment without surgery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a rather unpleasant experience at the clinic. As I was referred to this clinic by my GP, I regret not reading the reviews online before going. If I had came to see these negative reviews here, I would certainly change a clinic.
Firstly, the clinic was dark and empty with only 1 consultation room and the door was left open during consultation, so others waiting outside the room could hear the conversation. The door was only closed during the scans and checks. Honestly, I have never seen any doctors who does consultations like this. I felt uncomfortable speaking about my condition with others being able to hear, and I also felt uncomfortable when I could hear others in the consultation room. The patient’s privacy is not protected.
Secondly, midway through the ultrasound test which I took, she had a phone call and started talking to the caller about how little she was earning as a doctor. It was only after a few minutes that she told the caller that she had a patient and would call him back later. The process of the ultrasound test also made me feel very uncomfortable with the way she spoke. She kept probing about my personal life and when I gave answers, she seemed to doubt me and her tone was rather rude when asking too. My ultrasound experience was not like this went I went to other clinics previously.
Thirdly, she was rather impatient and at some times rude. I tried to explain to her about my condition right from many years ago, but she seemed impatient and uninterested, telling me “I’m just asking a question so you just give me one answer to the question”. So I gave her short answers as she requested, and I don’t think she still understands my condition fully. At the end of the consultation when she was prescribing medication, she asked me again what medications I was taking. I told her a different medication (because she didn’t ask at the beginning and when I wanted to tell her, she cut me off). Then she was unhappy and said “You must tell me the whole story and your story must match if not I give you the wrong things”.
And lastly, she told me that I was fine and wouldn’t need any medication. But she wanted me to buy this supplement called Evening Primrose oil with vitamin E. $80 for 90 capsules per bottle and she wanted me to get 2 bottles which cannot be covered by insurance. As I did not know the market price, and she kept promoting it, I just agreed to buy (which is my fault). After the consultation then I realized that there are many brands in the market selling cheaper prices. I totally regret agreeing to buy and wasting $160 on 2 bottles. I am also not sure if she charged me the correct price because I read another review here from 7 years ago that another patient bought the same medication for $60 per bottle. The price may have increased, I don’t know.
These are just my honest experiences and opinions about the Dr Rosalind. Hope it helps those of you who are looking for a good doctor.
