★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Celebrated my birthday here. Sam and his amazing team made sure it was one for my best birthdays. Delicious food, strong drinks, relaxing ambiance. But the best part was the hospitality. I’d recommend Rubato at Mr Gallop to anyone looking for a place to host a special occasion - ask for Sam and he will make sure to create the most memorable experience for you and your guests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My fav Rubato restaurant now has a new branch Rubato at Mr Gallop!! Set in Turf City amidst the kids’ hangouts like pony rides and lessons, indoor swimming and golf… my brunch extended to lunch without realising it! And best of all, can choose from both Rubato and Kebaya menu! I swear the chill-out vibes made the angel hair pasta taste even better than usual!
After watching the cute ponies walk by during brunch, my 4 year old finally conquered her fear of horses and did her first ever pony ride ? another plus point is the big outdoor seating which allowed our dogs to hang out and play together while us humans ate and drank to our fill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rubato at Mr Gallop is a good example of a restaurant that has started without enough resources. Other than the obvious lapses such as drink can cartons next to cleaning equipment on the floor, you may also observe missing wall fittings with holes in the wall.
This space has obviously been taken over recently and unfortunately it seems that the management has decided to be as cost effective as possible. No qualms with the staff or level of service although one did drop another table's used knife on me.
I would have liked for the food to redeem the entire experience but sadly, with a menu as wild as Rubato's, I should not have expected much. It was forgettable at best.
I wish Rubato all the best as it works out its teething problems but for now this is more of a loosely run drinking joint with a kitchen attached to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The famous Rubato Italian Restaurant at Greenwood Ave just established another huge outlet at Mr Gallop. It has a large alfresco dining area that is a great place to relax after long day at work. Will surely be back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The crowds turnout at this restaurant during Mothers Day was respectable. Service and attention given to us and the process of seating us down was efficient. The advice of the "maitre'd" was to be relied on, as we ordered the burrata and the seafoof platter was sumptious and sufficient for 4 adults. Seafood was fresh ie lobster and seabass which probably was baked , tasted fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible brunch with the truffle risotto and scallop pasta among other things. Great chill out place where can bring dog and lots of fun for young daughter as she could do a pony ride! Definitely a place to come back!!!
