★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TL;DR Exceptional Balinese food. You need to try it.
We had fried duck, fish stew, and fern stew, with a sampling of 4 sambals. Everything I’ve just listed was perfectly cooked, in a really refined way, but with strong Bali flavors.
At the end we had coconut panna cotta. It was also fantastic, a great way to end the meal.
Really and truly, I was blown away by the quality and the flavor. My only regret is not getting pictures of the mains, because we were so excited when they showed up, we just started eating immediately. We will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been to the Kebaya restaurant at Greenwood and we want to just highlight two outstanding impressions about this new restaurant.
Firstly, they serve one of the most amazing Balinese cuisine in Singapore. We had the fried red snapper and it was so fresh, and coupled with the amazing fresh chills, absolutely outstanding. The variety of chilli recipes from bali just brought us back to our holidays in bali. The chicken satay was so fragrant, it’s just one of those dishes that stays in our mind. But , oooh the types of chillies …. Superb. We’d go back to try the rack of lamb and beef in our next trip, Balinese style of course.
And secondly, the restaurant would not be without the outstanding service by Daniel, the restaurant manager. He made a difference in our overall dining experience and brought it to a whole new level . We loved the food and because of the COVID restrictions, we couldn’t dine at the restaurant with friends so we asked Daniel to pack a takeaway gift of some of the dishes for our friends to try. Daniel just exceeded all expectations. He and the chef created an out of this world huge gift ensemble of the dishes put together in a basket tray, and I was expecting at best, an aluminium tray when he told me that he would “handle it”. The “takeaway” was “mind blowingly “ impressive. Well done Daniel , chef and team.
Our compliments. We will certainly return ….

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had awesome dining experience with Kebaya at Greenwood. A great shout out to the team’s service, especially Jonathan Ng! Love the nasi lemak rice and most the dishes brought us memories of Lombok, Indonesia. Thanks team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food ?! This restaurant is rather new, opened only in July this year. And with Covid-19 Delta variant heighten alert restriction we have no chance to try out this place until now. The place was not too busy and we managed to get a table through it was kind of last minute. The restaurant setting wasn't too fancy. I thought there will have some Balinese decorations but it was kind of plain. I think it will be better if they can improve on that. We ordered a chicken salad, beef rendang and a red snapper fish. Honestly I love all three dishes. They were just delicious ?. Chicken salad is a mixture of kang kong and chicken with Balinese dressing, it's refreshing and tasty. The beef rendang is make out of oxtail and some special kind of rendang sauce, it's different from Peranakan version and yet it's still very good. The bake red snapper was really the highlight, again the seasoning was just done right and the cooking was excellent. The fish meat was juicy and soft. Very good. Highly recommend this place if you like to have some diversity in your food choices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled across this restaurant during our early evening walk, and decided to give it a try as husband and I was in the mood for some Indonesian crusine. When we went in, we didn't have much expectations, as the restaurant wasn't busy, and we didn't see too many reviews for this restaurant. Turns out the restaurant just opened it doors on July, so it's only been opened for 3 months. We were honestly surprised when the food came and the quality + taste was very good. We ordered a Ox tongue sate, a Balinese style duck confit, Okra with sambal and the KFC (kebaya fried chicken) The Ox tongue sate was very tender and the sauce that accompany it was not the usual thick nutty sate sauce but a light tangy sauce which was very refreshing. The fried chicken was juicy but not oily and it was well marinated with spice seasoning. The duck confit was tasty but I wish it can be a little more tender to literally achieve the meat fall off the bones action. Overall we really enjoyed our meal and we are looking forward to our next visit already!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Balinese restaurant that delivers great quality food. Their Kebaya Fried Chicken is outstanding, as is their Red Snapper, Rendang and Eggplant. The restaurant was rather quiet on a Sunday afternoon so we got a lot of attention. I wish their chili sambals were spicier though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The oxtail soup was not as good as it was before after a change of chef. Both the meat and the soup lacked the depth of flavour found previously. The braised oxtail rendang stew was great though. The long bean stew was fine.
From an earlier visit, enjoyed the excellent quality, flavours and cooking of the Indonesian dishes.
Ox Tongue Skewer (Sate Padang) With Spicy Turmeric Sauce & Rice Cake - ox tongue was very tender and went well with the turmeric sauce and rice cake
Traditional Oxtail Soup made with Australian oxtail slow cooked over charcoal - the soup had depth of flavour
Sous Vide Fried Duck & Sambal With Indonesian Basil, Crispy Kemangi & Sambal "Dabu Dabu" - tender, meaty, flavourful
Terung Bakar Sambal (Grilled Eggplant with Sambal Tomato) - fresh, flavourful, and good portion.
