★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rasa Sayang Western Food is a must to try if you are at the ang mo kio S11 , Chicken Chop and Pork Cutlet is one of the top favorites among the youngsters for the choice of selection . They have been there since 10 years ago as far as i can recall .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the ribeye from western food stall. The meat came thinner than what I saw on the picture. Baked beans was cold like it was scooped out of a can kept in the fridge. Fries were almost tasteless. For $13, you’ll find better value elsewhere. The chicken cutlets looked big though. Maybe that’s what they are known for.

Delicious options include chicken rice (comes with free soup), western stall (I love the salted egg chicken!), and the chicken wings. Be wary that you are not allowed to bring outside food and drink.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard the top shell (gong gong) is good. So I went to check it out. The place has a dozen or more food stalls including two seafood stalls. At dinner time, the place is packed and have to wait for free tables.
The Old Chong Pang chicken wing is good! The seafood ok and the Hokkien Mee is below par.

This stall doesn't make any of the usual lists, but has been around for at least 7 years or more.

I like the soft sweet potato cakes with lovely vegetal earthy sweet flavour, the juicy Taiwanese pork sausages with meaty savoury sweet salty flavour, and the crispy prawn cracker fritters with savoury sweet shrimpy notes.

Served with juicy strips of cucumber, whose vegetal sweet flavour help refresh the palate.

Reliable, worth a try if you're in the Ang Mo Kio area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by for lunch, just nice before the crowd came in so I could buy food and find a seat quickly.
Got myself the chicken rice set, pretty decent and value-for-money. Rice was cooked well, fluffy and fragrant. Beansprouts were great, nice and crunchy and the accompanying shallots and garlic made it really delicious. Overall, nothing much to scream out. Good chicken rice in a food centre that I grew up eating from since secondary school days, nostalgic and brings back the feels.
