Very bad experience for my first visit @ Sakura Thai Jalan kayu.. when reaching we are the only customer were there at the time.. So as usual order our food and drinks...after 30mins drinks served only, we ask the waiter why our food still no served, they reply they need to clear the online order first, so we wait again...after awhile we ask the waiter why our food still not served yet, they said need to wait again?..for more than 1hr we just wait and wait..so we decided to cancel our order & I ask the cashier she said the chef come in late...so it's my problem arrr, its 1hr for waiting only. atleast you guys come to us and explain right...nobody care for the customer! this is first and last to visitsakura Thai @jalan kayu..not recommended at all! Wasted 1hour+++ Bad service..

Service was superb. Tomyam soup is da bomb. Pad Thai and pandan chicken are so so only. Quantities are a bit small. Overall good experience due to courteous staff.

Went there to try their steamboat. $30+ for 2 pax and the quantity quite generous. You can also add on from $3+.

Had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon, only found out it halal after I am sat down, so no pork. Lots of dishes was not available, ended up with stir fry beef. Wait time is ok. But price is high comparing with other around the location. Most likely not coming back anytime soon.

ordered twin fish fried rice, thai fried rice, kway teow with cockles, chap chye, and baby squid. fried rices were really really good. wok hei was there. fragrant and had bite. kway teow was not bad. saucy, a lot of egg. tasted smokey but still a bit too wet. chap chye was one of the best I've had in singapore. baby squid a little on the chewy/tough side. nice sauce tho. the service was a little slow due to lack of staff, but the makcik staff was kind enough to explain that to us a few times. she was very fast & polite. however, i felt that it's not her responsibility to keep apologising, and the boss should step forward to apologise instead of sending his staff to do so. will come back!

Main dishes cooked w chilli padi by default. Phad thai was fried with thai basil. Claypot rice was quite bitter, its fried rice served in claypot. Sotong used is sotong in can/dried sotong.

First time having family dinner here, can honestly most of the dish is delicious, from the lemon chicken, Thai chilli chicken to the seabass fish and salted egg prawn. The staff n owner of the outlet are extremely friendly and helpful. Kudos to that.. Amazing dinning experience
