San Xi Hainanese Chicken Rice

The chicken meat is tender. Rice is just nice. I like the powerful chilli sauce. Free flow of soup. Good portion of meat and comes with bean sprout below the meat. Not expensive

The chicken was pretty tasty, but portion was on the small side. The rice was delish and went well with the bean sprouts.

Chicken rice was more than decent for $3. Had a bowl of soup and chicken came with bean sprouts too. What a good find. Like it that they have ginger and chilli sauces.

Decent priced chicken rice stall with some bean sprouts included. The soup is free and nice using old cucumber, carrots and dates.. However, the chicken, rice and chilli was very average.. Would have rated it lower if the price is over $3.

Very good chicken rice at a price of only $3 ? soup was self service and free flow i guess. Rice was ok but abit bland. Chicken was tender and the tau key was good!!!! Chilli was alright too

This is SO GOOD and SO GENEROUS: I ordered the $3 chicken rice with breast meat, added a boiled egg for 60 cents. You scoop yourself a free bowl of chicken feet soup in the big pot. I saw customers scooping more than 1 chicken feet, but I was afraid if I did the same I’d deprive others of the chicken feet. The stall holder won’t stop u if u did. Very generous of them. Bought half a roasted chicken at $12 & 1 packet lukewarm chicken rice at $0.50 on 7th of april at 4.15pm. There were no queue at the 4A Eunos Crescent hawker centre. First time ordering from this stall. The rice is abit dry even though there were some flavour. The roasted chicken were chopped with bone-in and 100% cooked making it abit too dry. Not moist. The Chicken tasted normal , not very tough to bite and a watery spicy chilli sauce with vinegar added. There were alot of chopped chinese parsley sprinkled over the whole cut up chicken pieces. After eating i had a stomach ache leading to diarrhea. It may be cheap to buy but abit uncomfortable to eat on the safe side. Customers to this stall must be wary.

The food was great. The texture of the chicken was soft and silky smooth. The skin is springy with a layer of fat underneath. The meat was a bit tough, wasn't as tender as it should be. Rice was fragrant and aromatic with a slight hint of chicken flavour. Their garlic chilli was spicy enough, complementing the chicken rice well.
