β β β β β just checked out from the hotel and writing hell fresh review.....so to begin with , believe me I have never came across a hotel anywhere with hotel reception staff so ARROGANT, RUDE, HOPELESS AND IRRESPONSIBLE. Especially, the lady at night shift. They don't even talk properly when you say something. In return, they simply start behaving as doing a favour. I reported issues like room looking Glass light not working and wash basin hot water etc. And none of these were attended for five consecutive days of our stay in the hotel. Only, one housekeeping guy with spectacle was formidable enough to talk to.
The room I stayed ( superior double room) was miserably small and hardly any space was there to walk or roam. Somehow, our luggage could be settled. Moreover, it was unclean not worth money taken. Personally, I was really very disappointed with the behaving of the hotel staff which is wholly responsible for all the discredit for the hotel. After all, it is your attitude and welcome hospitality and courteous smile which makes a huge difference. And with a hotel like sandpiper, it was all missing.
The single star rating is only for the probably good location of the hotel otherwise it is not worth even a single star.

β β β β β The hotel is suitable place for those who travels alone. Each room gets its own bathroom, limited amount of TV channel, room service (clean the room), closet, and safe deposit box that you can arrange your own safety lock number. The hotel is near MRT station by 100 meter and it very convenient for traveller.

β β β β β The front desk, as local say cannot make it. Not attentive, went there twice for the second time, i stand infront of the door like gundoo. He went on talking and talking about a min or so, he realise im outside he then open the door. After one of the patron done talking, he ask for the booking, i was tryimg to open the app which should be understood, im using iphone, or for any other phones it will take time to navigate through the app, he display that irritated face, never mind, he whispered i dont know with which ghost, speaking in his own language, hello i also dont wish to stand infront of you looking at your annoying face, and never mind he talk like i owe him 2 million. You not happy with where you are standing nobody force you to serve anyone. You chose that job jolly well do it with pride. Im your guest not your enemy you want to tell me the house rule also dont tell me like a kid. I told him off and he just ignore me. Those who suffering from high blood pressure, you better dont stay in that hotel, if you think we are cheapskate dont say about us reflect on where you are working. We dont judge but your attitude reflects on who your are, and you are inviting people to give such an unfavurable remarks, and destroy the hotel image, dont think if you treat people as such people gonna bow down at you and just move off. If you have pride anyone also have the pride and wish to be treated with respect. Considering this period its difficult to get a job, just hope you dont come acrosd someone who will make your life a living hell just because you think you have had successfully treat others and bow down to you! Such a nuisance!

β β β β β The only thing good is Location!
Person on front desk is having some attitude issue, or doesn't how to have discussion with travellers.
Toilet is not having dustbin, twin rooms provided to the couple.
AC also not working fine.
We found used soap & brush in room (maybe from the guest who check-out before us), near by bed. Room is not so cleaned as well. Thankfully, we carried own towels.

β β β β β the location is very good. it's just near the metro station and 7/11. there are lots of restaurants of Indian food nearby. we were lucky to get room updation for free. the room is nice and clean. bathroom is ok, but when you take a shower, water is dripping all around, including the toilet. service is quite nice. you will want talking to the receptionist if you are a fan of British humor. I enjoyed staying there

β β β β β One of the cheaper places to stay in Singapore. The rooms were extremely tiny. It was clean, but the room smelled musty. The window could not be opened.
