Don't bother to try this if you are looking for kolo mee... I rather stall owner rename to wanton mee and I think will deserve for than 1 star.

Doesn’t seem to be Sarawak kolo mee . It is just like noodle in a black soya source, fried onion with sesame oil. With some tasteless mincemeat and 3 piece char sew, price at S$4.5 , not worth the value at all. I will not recommend this stall.

This Sarawak Koko Mee does not taste bad, but it is under-whelming. The noodles quality is curly and qq, and the sauce is balanced except for the splash of the wrong sweet black sauce thrown in by the cook at the last minute to spoil the taste. This sweet sauce added seemed like an error as it’s the type used for soon kueh and not the black soya sauce or kidnap manis for wanton mee. It is the super caramelized sauce. The amount was very little for $4.50 bowl of signature noodles which comes with a tiny bowl of tasteless soup. It had ONE fried wanton which tasted quite nice, some minced pork which was dry and tasteless (could be prepared too early) and some char siew. They also sell instant noodles and I saw a small boy of primary school age order to take away and the guy just takes a pack of instant noodles to cook. I really wondered why anyone would order instant noodles at the hawker centre as they Could have cooked them at home at 8-10 times less. This is a stall to patronize only when neighboring stalls are closed.

I ordered the signature today. It is dry and the seller does not have chilli in vintage, a critical component for the noddle. The chilli is mixed in the ingredient, similar working method as normal wanton noddle, not for Sarawak kolo-mee. I will buy from this store again.

It is not sarawak kolo mee. No similarity whatsoever, from the mee to the ingredients to the layout and of course the taste. Neither is the taste singapore-style wantan or char siew mee. Frankly I don't know what it is. It's an original creation. Sure you are entitled to create and sell whatever you like, but please don't call it sarawak kolo mee. You are making a fool of yourself.

Unassuming stall that have very good noodles! Although not really authentic sarawak noodles. Taste very good and noodles not overcooked.
