Best satay, and sauce has pineapple puree ?

Very good satay or may I say the best satay in this hawker center. I have been eating here for ten years and still thinking this is the best in this hawker center.

Horrible satay. Totally burnt and very dry meat. Try at your risk ???

Pork satays are nice. Meat is well marinated and grilled correctly. Peanut sauce could be thicker.

This stall is quite irritating actually. Their Google Maps listing says they're open 7 days a week from 3-10pm. I went down one Thursday to find them closed (turns out they're closed all day on Thursdays). The second time I got bitten by this place was today, a Monday when they're meant to be open. I went there at 4pm and Guess what? closed again! Utterly hopeless especially when you go there specially for satay and nothing else. Wasted trip. I managed to try just once here. Their meat selection is limited to just two kinds and they don't serve onion with the cucumber so they short-change you. From now on I'm patronising Kwong Satay at Lor 29. Their satay is marinated, offer all three meats, cooked to a tee and also they serve onion. Oh, and they're also OPEN when you take the trouble to go down there.

The standard of this shop satays have dropped. The Satays are usually served with onions without extra charges but now you have to pay for it. The mutton satay is so small and there is not much meat on the stick. One stick cost 60cents. I only get 5pcs of cucumber ( takeaway order ) when they used to give 10-15 in a packet. They put it in the packet so I won’t be able to see how much they gave, and the cucumbers became so soft because they mixed it with the satay..

Both Wife and I had craving for satay. Decided to give this place a try. Ordered a total of 30 sticks In pork and chicken. Shiok! No queue on a Saturday late afternoon hence was served quite fast. Stall owner was friendly and generous with the satay sauce. Kudos. While this is stall is not listed in any Top 5 list, it is worth the visit and can help satisfy any satay craving.

Very good satay! Price is reasonable and helmed by friendly stall owner! Will come back for more soon whenever I get satay cravings ??
