★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here. Ordered 1 two persons & 1 person portion due to the dine in restriction at coffee shop, with two rice & two porridge. Total cost $29. Braised boneless duck meat was tender, the taukua was flavourful & the deep fried sliced fish cakes were tasteless & the dish comes completed with big braised groundnuts which are soft & delicious. The sauce was thick & full of flavour but too salty to my liking. But it's good to go with the porridge which is thick & smooth. A small cup of kopi-0 at this 40 overs years kopitiam is $1.30 & it's not piping hot but only lukewarm! It's like daylight robbery! Verdict: will not visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To be very frank, the taste is not bad. This portion cost $7+ I forgot the exact price. I could hardly see the meat, for this price i could get a duck leg from the hawker but no choice as they r famous. Taste is good but nothing amazing. Not value for money at all

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Option of rice or porridge and I love the smoothness of the porridge (comes piping hot as well) coupled with their braised sauce. Ample seating during lunch. No menu but you can just tell the boss how many pax eating and whether you want innards included or not. $18 for 2 pax set comes with a clear soup as well.

For foreigners, chicken rice and Buk Kut teh are famous but I don’t know why this local food is not so common for tourists.
This is my favourite duck rice and here is long Q around noon.
But here is worth that you try !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This set of duck rice came with egg, tau kwa, liver and peanuts. It was amazing and full of flavour. The gravy and sweet chili complements everything. I love that the duck meat had no bones. Delicious but it is absolute high-calorie bomb

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went at opening time 11am and there was already a queue. Unfortunately I couldn’t understand why it deserves a queue because I didn’t enjoy this.
We ordered a mixed portion of duck, beancurd, fish cake, duck liver, and egg for 2pax at $18. They are very generous with their braised sauce which was too cloyingly sweet and drowned everything in it. The rice was mushy to begin with, and made even mushier with a dollop of the super sweet braised sauce.
We saw many old regulars chatting with the business owners. So perhaps it is just simply not our cup of tea. For us, it is a place to go once and never again.

One of the best braised duck rice in sg for sure! It is very flavourful. Has a signature unique taste. But cause of its heavy flavour, it is not one that i will eat every other week. But still one that i will miss!
