All the dishes we ordered are good! Especially the prawn hor fun and french beans. Although the restaurant is old, the place is pretty well kept and comfortable to dine in. The ambience gives the feeling that you are in Australian Chinatown Chinese restaurant. Some outdoor seating is available for small group too.

A very old school restaurant! Heard about the famous crispy duck so I came to tried! It lives up the expectations! Crispy and tender at the same time. It’s like the duck version of suckling pig. The sautéed beans was good. Beef fried rice was meh, not much flavor. Would only come back for the duck!

Tucked away in the private estate area you find an old school restaurant with good food! The roasted duck is so crispy and the sauce goes so well with it. Beef fried rice is bomb. Love the Chinese food here and will definitely come back!

A small restaurant with quite a fair bit "gem" dishes. You will expecting surprise... Good food and taste great.

The guy taking orders abit rude as we ordered 4 dishes 1 soup(for 5 persons) and he say we ordered too little. Customer have a choice to order what they like not by passing this type of remarks. Won't go again. Food soso only.

It’s a very interesting place. Both founders are used to work for a Chinese restaurant in New York, so you can their decorations style is very similar to those old Chinese restaurants you can find in those western movies! Their food is also defiant worthy to try, Sichuan cuisine combining with a bit Singaporean style and the pricing is also quite reasonable, no extra GST and servicing charge, all included already! Don’t mind coming back again in the future!

Food was served very quickly. The smoked duck is a must order :) gives u old school vibes and friendly staff . Will come again ?

Restaurant that has preserved the old-school flavours. The Kong Bak Pau's braising sauce is unique in that not many restaurants do it this way (More savoury notes). The Kong Bak itself was not the most tender but still passable. Duck was really tender albeit slightly dry but had an incredibly intense smokey taste (Only order if you're good with strong smokey wood fired aromas). Eggplant, eefu noodles and tofu claypot dish nothing to shout about. Fried rice (not pictured) was on the saltier side. Patrons are mostly from the older generation and for that matter I don't think youngsters will be able to appreciate these flavours. Overall slightly pricey and by no means the best quality but again I digress;it's a nostalgic place and these flavours are rare nowadays. Give it a go if you want to try something different!
