Dining experiences @ Tashaโ€™s have been great so far! One of our frequent go to joints. Service is always good! Friendly and alway ready to take feedback. The aunties always come forward to check if the meals are all good. We had tried the prata, thosai, both chicken and mutton biryani, murtabak, mutton chop and tea. The food is really good and better than what we had at Springleaf. Generally, the food is not too salty or overly sweet. Meats are always soft and well cooked. Curries are rich and flavorful. It does not leave a heavy queasy feeling after the meals. You can ask for a lesser sugar Tehsโ€ฆ and the tea does not have the astringency of the tea (not โ€œsiapโ€).

The teh tarik here is foamy and smooth. Not bad! But chicken briyani rice was cold, think they didnโ€™t heat up, maybe can improve on this.

Here for a slightly late lunch at 1.00pm and we were surprised to know that the lunch time crowd just left ? delighted cos we were famished! Masala Mutton Biryani - WOW ? the basmati rice was cooked to perfection! It was fluffy, fragrant and flavourful. We appreciate the thoughtfulness in separating of spices from the rice - One of the "landmines" while eating briyani is to accidently crew into a cardamon??โ€โ™€๏ธ?โ€โ™‚๏ธ The mutton curry - tender and welll flavoured - had just enough spiciness to give the right amount of "kick". Generous amounts of crispy crunchy Papadam enough for two to share ?โœŒ๏ธ Prata Volcano Chicken Steak Combo is a visual treat indeed ? A mind-blowing and creative twist to the standard teloh prata, along with a nicely marinated fusion chicken steak served with fries. ?? Although we were famished, the portions were huge enough for 3 to share! ? We will definitely be back to this joint for more! ?

Brand New Concept and Ambience.. Excellent hospitality and energy from the crew! I had their commando satti soru and mutton murtabak. It was sooo good! The satti soru was perfectly done with the shiok level of spiciness, crunchy ikan bilis and curry leaves. Mutton Murtabak was perfect. Generous filling of Moist and tender meat. And the accompanying gravy was also full of flavour and thickness for a dip. Aesthetically pleasing presentation! Ambience was pure comfort. Loved the fusion of nature with their furnishings. Warm lighting to complement the wood. It takes you away from the bustling street and activity just right outside. Definitely going to be a regular! See yall there!

We were invited by a friend to have dinner at her neighborhood's Indian restaurant, Tasha's. The restaurant itself is bright and clean, simple layout. Ordered to share. Their claypot fish head curry was fresh, though we wished the gravy was less diluted. Masala squid was a yummy rice-topper. Prices are easy-on-the-wallet too.

Revamped from Tasha Restaurant to Semma Bistro. Good upgrade. The atmosphere is cool and food has a good variety. Recommended goto place. Sati soru (claypot rice) mutton is a must try.

Food wise it is good but drink wise I find the teh halia not enough ormph. The chicken curry is good but the fish curry is a bit let down as I find it missing the depth of flavor that I always look for in a nice curry. We ordered the Tasha Special Murtabak ($15). It is FULL of ingredients. It has cheese, mutton, ham, egg, mushroom, capsicum and tons of other stuff. Surprisingly it goes nicely together. 5 stars here. The mee goreng is the wet style. It spicyness level is there and it has nice chunky potatoes and tau kwa. It has a thick sauce coating every strand of the noodles. Nice!
