★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company treats paying hotel guests as guinea pigs to suffer the control of its tech and cost-cutting by hotels. Their business largely revolves around denying guests freedom to operate the air-conditioning in hotel rooms. Movement sensors keep watch (even when asleep) and deny individual freedom. Guests can be forced to endure excessive humidity and extreme temperatures, as the ability to intervene/override in-room is removed - in this way, the guest experience is undermined. Why do a repeat stay at any hotel that treats its guests with such disdain via this tech?
