★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the mixed fish soup. Fried fish wasn't too bad. Fresh fish had an over cooked dry texture that made me think it wasn't fresh. Fresh fish done right should have a nice chewy texture and separates nicely on each bite without a fishy taste. I didn't taste that here. Soup was on the sweet side.

The taste one of the best traditional Teowchew Fish soup in Singapore.
Fresh fish, nice prawn roll, oyster egg, good chilli sauce.
Hard to find such traditional taste nowadays.
Price is acceptable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good taste fish soup just close to the toa payoh library,this stall has a few types of dishes like red grouper steamboat,steamed fish beehoon ,lobster beehoon etc..I tried the oyster omelette ,taste not that great but the soups are ok,with a good portion too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As affirmed by most reviews, uncle is a fish soup connosieur. Have been having his fish soup beehoon when he was at TPY Lor 1 market, before he shifted to Blk 177 Toa Payoh. I had fish soup thick bee hoon (as good as before) The fish is really fresh, thickly sliced, no fishy after-taste, no msg, sweet umami fish soup broth (finished all of it). Chilli packs a punch too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Caters fish soup for 1 pax to big fish for families, the fish is very fresh and succulent. Take-away for big fish will be packed in stainless steel tray which you can return next visit or passing by.
-Serve other foods like oyster eggs, fried fish roll, hei zhou and many more. Their chilli is a killer - very tasty, fragrant with right amount of spicyness. ??
