With much regret, we have to leave this employment agency with a negative feedback, and here’s why: We had 2 helpers through their doors, both of which started with high hopes but left us dry, and in greater distresses than before. We trusted them (despite them having no reviews on google) out of good faith, as we needed help in our family matters urgently after we saw the bio profile on maidnet. The first helper (G2693***N) worked for us 2 days and then she said she didn’t want to work for us. We thought it’s just a one off and we decided to transfer her back to the agency. We had to pay an admin fee of $350 to have a replacement. We thought we could land a better helper so we decided to go ahead with them again. Little did we know this second helper (G8965***L) turned out to be worse than the first. She mentioned she didn’t want to work for us, on the second day. (Highly coincidental?) From then on, she has been rude to us, and even had the audacity to mentioned that she’d be playing her phone games for the rest of the day. Long story short, we sent the second helper back to her country. We feel that the agency could be more empathetic — we trusted them on grounds that they mentioned that their helpers were all hand picked, well trained and mentioned that they’d step in if there’s any issues. When these incidences happened, we did see them talking to the helpers, but we didn’t see any improvement in terms of their work ethics and attitude. On costs. More over, when we inquired about the fees, they did not mentioned that there’s a POEA fee of $490 and a documentation fee of $350, all these on top of their agency fee of almost $3000. We only knew about it when we were signing the papers. We've tried to ask for a pro-rated portion of the agency fee, but the lady boss said 'will check with management team' and get back next week. The next week came and she said 'write in via email, with all your emotions, so I can forward to the management team to highlight to them'. Thanks for your sincerity but we don't see any actions so far and no communications since our email that we sent out on Sep 24, 4:02 PM. My mom recommended me to Shirley, the boss as our previous helper was from her. Our helper worked with us for 4 years and was amazing. Shirley recommended me a helper as I was in desperate need of one. She was transparent with her fees and listed the break down accordingly. She coordinated the interviews with the helper and guided me on the procedure. Together with Anna who assisted me, both Shirley and Anna were very patient and lovely, guiding me and giving me advices. Thank you so much Shirley and Anna. Not too sure why there were negative reviews but I had a wonderful experience with Shirley and Anna.
