★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought salt pepper here sometime ago and found it to be a product of China. Today I bought a jar of umeboshi. It was clearly marked in English that it was a product of Japan. Upon reaching home, I put on my reading glasses and read the original print (mostly in Japanese) , and I found the 原产地to be China.
While I have nothing against Chinese products, I am upset that I was misled to believe that it was a Japanese product when it was not. Is someone ashamed of Chinese products? Why does anyone have to do this?
