Very rude and unprofessional. The transaction model of S1 a month is attractive, but this platform is poorly integrated with many existing ERP software. You do not get the ubiquity of integrations, and the great customer service of Shopify. With the bad experience I had, I am so glad I did not opt for their subscription model. There are not in the same league as the big players even though they claim they are. There is NO TRIAL PERIOD. Join and get invoiced even if you did not use their platform at all. It is a very NARROW MINDED mode of operation to be honest. I strongly advise people to think twice before even signing up or downloading any apps from them, it will cost you.

Exorbitant fees to pay for unreliable and lousy customer service. I wouldn’t even give it a one star rating. This company’s customer service is non-existent, try calling their number and you’ll understand what I mean. The only way to get to them is through the online chat on their website. Even so, they took forever to get back to you with a solution. Their customer support is either William or Angelica. Had an extremely bad experience with them. Promised a refund by this William who claimed that my refund has been proceed with the HIGHEST PRIORITY. And Guess what, after weeks of waiting. I had to contact them again, only to be informed by Angelica that my request for the refund has been missed??? Wow, their definition of highest priority is to ignore customer’s request. Charged my credit card for $500+ renewal fees even though they were told my business has ceased, refused a full refund and yet totally lied about my refund being processed with highest priority. Despite everything they claimed on their website, this is one company who is only interested in making money and not growing your business or needs. There are more reliable and reputable e-commerce providers such as Shopify. Don’t bother wasting your money and time on this one.

This is my first time writing a review, at the request of my customer support. I can see why now she was asking for help. I used to be on the 3 month plan, but Covid-19 really impacted my business, thank god they have the transaction plan at only $1 per month, otherwise i would have to close my business completely, don't know why some people can't even invest $1, but wants to run a business? Anyways Shopmatic you are doing a great job!! Please don't be afraid of bad comment! please also bring in that feature so i can do live sales! thanks!

BEWARE: Do not give your credit card number. I give it to clear debts so that my account can be deleted, but it keep repeating payment failure. Called their office and a robot voice said to leave a message at their chat bot. Also emailed to their support and it only keep repeating to log in to my account and delete it myself. Till now I did not receive any calls from them. It should be easy to delete my account on my own, but it is not allowing me to. This is scam.

Had problems accessing e-commerce website. Repeatedly fails to address this issue. If customers (they claim only a small percentage) cannot access my e-commerce website, no sales can be transacted! This adversely affects the trust and credibility of the e-commerce merchant.

!! >!! Very very very bad experience with Shopmatic. Subscribed to their highest tier $20/month service (total paid $240) on 30 March 2021, as they do not have trial service for our web developers to work on. As we are currently using API integration for our website, the Shopmatic platform is not compatible with API, and therefore we do not need their service. One week later, chat with their customer service support to cancel the subscription. And the personnel took days to raise my refund case. NOTE THAT THEIR TEAM IS BASED OVERSEAS AND OUTSOURCE (long response time, and poor quality responses), they do not have a team locally. In the end, they said it was their refund policy that they cant do a refund. It is simply a case of DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Such an unethical and unprofessional way of doing business. No matter how innovative your company is, you will not gain your customer's respect if you are not flexible with your refund policy.

Shopmatic was (and still is after 3+ weeks) having with issues with their SSL certificate supplier, and as a result, we could not access our ecommerce website for more than 3 weeks and counting. Asked their customer service and repeatedly received the same standard reply. Said that it is a global outage which affects many ecommerce platform, but could not give me a single example of websites that are affected. Could not give us an estimated date on when the issue will be solved, was always replied with the standard reply of "we appreciate your patience as we seek a permanent solution for you". What is an ecommerce website if it can't be accessed by customers for more than 3 weeks? Besides this issue of not being able to access our ecommerce website, many other basic functions and features of their platform is also lacking in a lot of areas. Feedback to them multiple times but was always given the standard reply of "we note your feedback and will look into it". If you are looking to create an ecommerce business long term, I would highly recommend you to look for alternatives as even though they do not have a fixed base monthly subscription fee for the basic plan, the transaction fee will add up close to what you are paying for other more reputable and big platforms like Shopify, which provides much better and intuitive features and functions. And most importantly, your website will not be inaccessible for 3+ weeks and counting.

Will auto renew your subs annually without giving time for subsribers to think through to pay monthly or 6 mths. During that time expect ppl to answer calls when ppl are workin. Believe that customer svc are now outsourced to india?? Anyway, dont spend your $$ on shopmatic. Go for more familiar ones like shopify , bigcommerce, shopline.
