β β β β β After our first appointment with Gyna, we were talked into taking up a comprehensive package (consisting of decor, catering, outfit, make-up, pre-wedding photoshoot) because we trusted that Signature Bridal would deliver and everything would go smoothly as assured.
Halfway through the wedding preparations, we wanted to change and engage a separate bridal/make-up artist due to the limited number of dresses available on hand & some negative feedback received from past clients.
After relaying our intentions to Gyna/Remy, we were strongly discouraged and told not to - and how we were making a big mistake if we went ahead. After much deliberation, we decided to give Remy and his bridal team the benefit of a doubt - trusting them to deliver the end product.
Sadly, this is what eventually transpired. On our wedding day, 4th November 2017, Remy did my make-up for nikah at 7.30am, after which he left me with Lina, the designated 'mak andam' for the day.
Remy left soon after, citing reasons of having to do make-up for another chinese bride of his in Yishun. He did however assure Lina & myself, that he would return in the afternoon to oversee my next outfit (sanding).
After the nikah segment ended at 11.45am, Lina and I waited in the fitting room for Remy to return as he instructed. Our next segment (berarak/kompang) with the 2nd outfit was scheduled at 1.30pm, and yet there was no update from Remy - even up till an hour before we were scheduled to make our appearance despite texts from Lina.
It was only at 1pm, 30 minutes before heading out that Remy called in to inform he couldn't come back to style and oversee my 2nd outfit as he was still attending to his chinese bride at Yishun and was unable to leave the venue. At this point, I was left distraught.
In less than 30 minutes, Lina did my hairdo/sanggul till it was time to make our appearance with the 2nd outfit (sanding). Everything was in a rush with Lina scrambling, trying to make up for loss time while we were waiting for Remy's supposed arrival earlier.
I trusted that Remy would return after he was done at Yishun. But, he did not. I was so disappointed to be left behind again. The disparity in treatment and attention given to me compared to the other brides was plain to see.
It really got me wondering - wasn't I a paying customer too?
Lina went ahead assisting me with my 3rd outfit in Remy's absence. I could tell she tried her best but honestly I wasn't happy with how my 3rd outfit & look turned out at all (at this point I was still having the same look/make-up throughout since the initial make-up applied by Remy for nikah @ 7.30am).
After the wedding, we informed Remy that we would transfer the final balance via ibanking as we have maxed out our transfer/withdrawal limit for that day (we had to pay balance to other vendors as well on that day).
We were told how Remy insisted for us to pass the balance to Lina in cash. We were taken aback by his persistence - especially since we have been paying via ibanking/wireless transactions all these while leading up to this point. It took some coaxing from Lina before he relented and agreed to receive the final payment via ibanking.
Why wasn't Remy around? Why did I have to be contented with looking the same for nikah, sanding and cake-cutting?
Why? So many questions were left unanswered.
Remy claimed he had other brides to attend to on that day - fair enough, but why didn't he come back for me for my 3rd outfit (cake-cutting segment)? As a result, the hairdo for my 3rd outfit was horrendous - and I refuse to blame Lina, the mak andam either.
In fact, if there's anyone to be blamed, it's quite apparent to see here really.
We should have just went ahead and engage another make-up artist/bridal company.
The entire experience has been a HUGE LET DOWN - especially for having paid a premium in engaging Signature Bridal.

β β β β β Great service, huge selection of baju to choose from at their boutique. There were many styles and we stayed at the boutique for 3 hours not knowing which one to pick cause all are nice to us. They do customizations as well! Thank you for making us look good at our wedding and would definitely recommend to others.

β β β β β Signature Bridal literally saved our wedding event.
It was only a few days before our biggest day but our previously chosen bridal have not yet completed tailoring our costumes. We had to find a bridal service that were willing and capable to provide us 3 tailored costumes within a week.
Fortunately, we met Gyna in a wedding roadshow. She listened to our story and she went the extra mile to help us out -- making last minute appointments in the wee hours of the morning, getting a tailor to be on-site, getting our bouquet collected at the last minute, finding a make-up artist for us, etc.
On top of that, they have such a huge collection of bridal costumes, we had such a hard time finding a perfect one because we saw so many that we loved! Alas, we had 3 beautiful costumes for our wedding day, perfectly tailored.
My partner and I would like to thank the amazing staff of Signature Bridal for their top-notch service.

β β β β β Remy treat us poor customer service. Quite rude that he don't even ask us if we prefer a pak andam or mak andam to make up on bride. Lucky i inform him firmly that i would like mak andam to make up on me due to aurat. And lucky that he is not our pak andam either, really cannot tahan with his poor customer service. Need to follow all of his suggestion or opinion. We are not allowed to meet with the make-up artist to discuss what kind of looks and accessories we wanted. U won't get ur dream wedding if ur service is handled by Remy coz he won't attend to whatever u want, he only want us to follow his own opinion. However, Violet , Fadillah my lovely mak andam and Jalil our very kind pak andam have done a very best service for us. We are very lucky that they helped us alot and make us happy during our wedding day. Thank you so much Violet, Kak Fadillah and Jalil (both pak andam and mak andam are vendors but their customer service are tiptop).
