Newly opened SAM distripark branch, location is a bit hard to find, not very accessible. Place is quite small, limited exhibition now, maybe will have more in future.

not worth going at its current state unless you are singaporean or foreign student with free entry. $10 is steep to see 4 galleries. the only interesting one was ceriatone documentary. There are other gallery at other floors, but not related to SAM, one need to pay for entry. i have been to sam when it was at bras basah, then also when it shifted to its temporary location nearby. those had more galleries to see. but the one here at tanjong pagar isnt worth it at all.

I've missed the original Singapore art museum ever since it was closed for reno. First time to this temporary one, and it didn't disappoint though it was small (3 exhibitions for now). No spoilers but some teasers: The VR was immersive and the stories told in the exhibition was provocative and fun. Not that child friendly (only 1 small portion where kids can participate in paper craft). 5 stars anyway. Looking forward to the original SAM reopening

It's worth a visit to SAM to experience some of the strange and quirky conceptual installations on offer. Entry was free for my partner and me which was a nice added bonus.

Easily accessible from bus stop. Nice museum among industrial area. Look out for 3 galleries in the museum, can be done quite fast as it’s not a huge area.

The SAM has always been my favourite museum in Singapore, hence I was pretty excited that I finally got the chance to visit the new SAM at Tanjong Pagar Distripark. I don’t really like the new SAM; mainly cos it’s so tiny and doesn’t have the same vibes as the old one. I miss the old SAM!!! ☹️

Huge space, but you really get the sense that this isn’t anything permanent. Not digging the industrial vibes, and the parking was certainly limited. If you’re going for the VR experience, you’ll have to register and get a β€œticket” before the session, which runs a few times within the hour. Interesting experience, but my glasses kept getting into the way of the VR goggles. Do visit the cafe and have coffee and cakes while you’re there. There’s also a children’s play area, plus a shelf filled with books on sale for any age. Check that out.

The newly opened art gallery in the warehouse near the marina is interesting as a location. But the entrance is not so obvious and easy to miss. Lots of parking spaces. Parking is not a problem at all. Because of the new opening, the number of people visiting is many and there is no air conditioning. A little patience is required! Therefore, iβ‹―β‹― is more recommended to visit on weekdays.
