Shoddily done work, not worth a cent.

My experience with Ixora was terrible. Not only did they take over 6months to stitch my dress, it was never completed. They finally gave me my money back for the stitching but not for the fabric. The whole experience was frustrating because of the number of times I went for fittings and came home empty-handed. And there were even a few times when the shop was closed even though I called to make sure they were open.

Love this little gem! Lots of natural fabrics - cotton and silks - and timeless designs at reasonable prices. They do make to measure too for their current designs with no additional charge!

Really disappointing experience. Owner is unresponsive once you make payment, the cut of the dress was not what I requested for and it wasn’t done properly. Waste of time and money

Dishonest business. DO NOT PATRONISE unless you can buy things on the spot. They collected deposit from me and said they would transfer the dress in the smaller size I wanted from another shop. No one contacted me in the 2 weeks they were transferring the dress. Went to there and returned empty-handed. In the 3rd week, they contacted me to collect the dress. Claimed it was customised for me. This is untrue. Turned out that they only took the larger size they had and took in the sides a bit. Dress was still loose when I tried on. But they insisted it was made from scratch for me. The tell-take signs: the ixora brand tag sewn on had a corner unpicked/unstitched to remove probably the size tag (L?) originally indicated. This was probably the larger dress I previously tried. I note that dress I originally tried was no longer in the shop, likely sewn down and passed off as a smaller size “customised” for me. Doubt I would have a happy experience transacting with dishonest people. Patronise if you don’t mind being lied upon and having to repeatedly listen to lies to convince you.
