I was really hopeful to know about the digital marketing & content creation course. Made some enquiries and attended the virtual briefing. The exchange of email was with Ms. June Tan, Senior Sales, Recruitment. IT went fine but I did not meet certain qualifications criteria being a mature candidate. I've even asked if there was any prerequisite test required if I did not meet the entry requirements. Also Included in the email are questions regarding subsidies for Singaporeans. An institution that supports the use of government subsidies and SME programs, ETSS, should be supportive with candidates who wish to continue upskilling. I've send two courtesy emails, one for an update and the last email for a simple reply in stating that I am not eligible. I find it rude and unprofessional to ignore someone even thought they may not be eligible. My employer encouraged me to continue taking courses and further expand our capabilities It is sad if true of Ms. June actions not to reply, translate to in my opinion as a form of discrimination. Thank you.
