The staffs there are very “dumb” (do everything by the book). Some seller just want to drop off their speedpost parcel (no need scanning or whatsoever) also need to queue for 20mins. Increasing the crowd and chance of cross infection. Also no customer service from their staff like any other gov sector

Long time Singpost branch here. It had evolved over the years with the times, and with many transactions going online, there are thankfully less crowds and queues there now. Still, it is a mainstay for when you need to send your local or overseas mail or parcels.

Perpetual long lines

It seems like the Singapore Post has lost its focus. I can understand the need to 'upgrade' your services to stay relevant. However, why provide passport application service at your branches?. It takes awhile to sort out the application as the applicant needs to fill up forms then stand in front of a machine that takes their passport photo. I have seen the frustration on the faces of the applicant when the machine is unable to take a photo due to some reason. This delay creates even more frustration when the customers are in the queue standing for more than half an hour to be served on the other services. Singpost should send their staff to Citibank to be trained in how to effectively serve their customers. Citibank is one of the most efficient banks in Singapore. Whether the branch is at the CBD area or serangoon gardens. Excellent and efficient!!. So coming back to singpost. The staff are not paid to have ' small talk ' with the customers but to 'move' the queue along. Waiting time should be about 10 and no more than 15 mins. When maid's are in the queue doing money transfers back to their families, the waiting time gets only longer. Some transactions can take a good 10 minutes and more and so more frustration among those in the queue. Singpost you have a long, long and proud history with Singapore and Singaporeans. Whenever I have to use Singpost service it only reminds of the good old days when the postman is a friend and the postmaster is a familiar face in the neighborhood who was respected and acknowledged by everyone. I do understand we've 'moved' on in Singapore. But must we put up with a service that's less than acceptable? Singpost don't disappoint us . Please be proud of the service that you provide. Singpost is a vital part of our infrastructure. Let's do better.

not sure if im at singapore post which main service is postal service or ica to collect passports. understand the service to collect passports at singapore post is a necessary one, but why isn’t there a counter open specifically for postal services? was originally using qoo10 for international shipping , but wanted to try out singpost, will never come again.

Singpost Management continues to disappoint. While we there waiting, so many elderly were stumped by the queue ticketing machine. Nobody is there to assist and the machine is only in English. It also requires the customer to key in the phone number (unless you select skip). Very very confusing system and nobody wanted to sort out the mess at the queue station. The counter service was good but overall experience was a let down. Instead of technology, Singpost management would be better off if they focus on the customer’s needs!

I just want to send out my parcels... but the waiting time is like ICA... There's barely any seats inside as well. Around 8-10 seats only, and there's 20+ people there when I go in the evening. Many people have no choice but to stand outside of the post office. To visitors: Expect to wait 30-45 minutes for postage services SingPost's priority should be mailing! Not passport renewals!
