★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $5 seafood soup with 3 fresh big prawns and batang fish. Batang fish don't need to say, very tasty freshness. Clear soup with fish bone taste very refreshing and the soup is not too salty. Occassionally the seafood soup is not available cos according to stall owner they don't sell the seafood soup if the prawns are not fresh. They will only sell the fish soup instead. The thin beehoon they use don't have the flour smell which is the best I ever had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Initially wanted to try the popular fish soup from the Geylang east market and food centre but unfortunately, they were closed for the day. We decided to head to another fish soup in the area.
There was already a long queue when we were there. I queued for almost 20mins before it was my turn. Ordered the SGD$5 portion with an additional bowl of rice (50cents).
Portion of the Spanish mackerel was generous, and the fish was fresh. The soup on the other hand was light but still packs full of flavors. They also have other options such as fish porridge as well fish Maw soup.
