My 1st time experience with SingaporeFlorist.com.sg was not satisfactory. When I purchased the bouquet of Valentine Roses (more expensive than normal occasion) online to be delivered on Valentine's Day (14-Feb), I opted to call recipient before delivery and opted 9-1pm timeslot although needed to pay extra $$. After my purchase was confirmed, I received an email from SingaporeFlorist 2 days later saying that due to 'Many Orders', calls to the recipient before delivery to be cancelled and if recipient was not in during the opted timing, $30 delivery charge was to be imposed for next day delivery. I did inform the staff of the recipient's lunchtime from 12pm and could not have my order cancelled when I requested. I feel that all rules were to be published online before any purchase was confirmed and number of orders can be controlled or stopped taking if SingaporeFlorist may not cope with it. By the way, the flowers were received after 1pm.

My first and last time ordering from this florist. Ordered a bouquet for Mother’s Day (order number 0452) slated to be delivered from 9am to 1pm. In the first place, this is such a broad timeframe given to customers. People are expected to wait a good half a day at home, with no certainty on when the flowers will arrive. But that’s not the issue. We waited the entire morning up all the way till 1pm and the flowers didn’t even come. Horrible, appalling service with regards to the delivery process. They have absolutely no idea where the flowers are located at any one point of time. They attempted to absolve their responsibility outright by saying their delivery drivers are subcontractors and so it’s not their problem. As a business, don’t they maintain some level of oversight over the subcontractors they engage? How then are they able to track the service standards of their subcontractors? The staff at the florist don’t even know the name of the driver or where the driver is currently at. Only after 1pm did the subcontracted driver call to say he will arrive an entire hour late at 2pm. Mother’s Day ruined spending the entire morning waiting for flowers which didn’t come and we had to go for late lunch. Refund was processed only after I requested for it. Almost no service recovery. Singapore still has a very, very, very long way to go compared to other developed cities when it comes to delivery standards. PS. Having a lot of orders on Mother’s Day to deal with is a very lame excuse for late delivery. They should have anticipated the demand for their orders and planned accordingly.

Great selection of flowers. Bought a bouquet for Mother’s Day and it arrived well and extremely pretty ? delivery arrived on time and managed to surprise my mom with the flowers. Overall highly recommended and will be getting flowers from them in the future if I need them :)
