★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisingly not a long queue during Sun lunch. Fish head bee hoon came with 5 substantial portions of fish head. The soup was milky rich and flavorful. At $7, it is much pricey compared to its competitors in the same market. But when you see the portion, it is duly justified.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First day of phase 1.5, we decide to tabao this highly rated stall as there is a short queue. At $7 a pop, I was surprised tabao was an additional $0.80, making it $7.80. Like the reviews, fish slices were thick. That was all it was. One of tofu tasted stale and vegetable looks sad. The soup was salty with msg, lips feels really dry after eating! Other than the thick fish slices, nothing scored well. Overall, I will not recommend this unless you have no choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My all time favorite is Han Kee from Amoy, and I'm glad to find this very similar version in the west! Thick fish slices and wholesome tasting soup. Do add the popular meat balls which is its speciality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great soup! Albeit pricey for $6. Although they make up for it by allowing you to swap fish with pork balls and slices which are pretty good as well.
Fish is still the star though so I'd stick to fish and pork balls alone next time. Its firm and fresh.
Rice is at 60c a bowl.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As usual there's a queue, though not as many as during lunch. Cooking time is reasonable. Ordered dine in and takeaway. The staff asked me to collect takeaway after my meal. A good guesture that keeps the takeaway warmer. Price of $7 is on the high side, nonetheless fish were thick slices, smooth and not a hint of fishiness. Will be back for more.

But fish slices are thick and fresh as usual. I would come all the way from Bishan just to have this. Old school taste and fish broth is thick and collagen filled smoothness
