★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arguably one of the best I've come across in recent years. Both black and white are equally good. I always order the mixed one for best of both world. Owner is a great chap with kind heart - he gave out a surgical mask per order during the early days of pandamic and recently a 50 cents discount on new year's day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well fried with crispy burnt ends and the dark soy sauce caramelises well with the radish cake, highly recommended ??????on weekends.
On weekdays, when business is not as brisk, the proprietor just scoops up what he has fried, and the camerilisation is soggy. Similarly, if you do takeaway, it’s no longer as good.
The stall is sometimes confused with Soon Lee Heng Satay as this is a shared stall with the satay shop that takes over the lot after 300pm. This stall accepts QR Pay

Everything was also over fried such that the whole plate, both carrot cake and eggs, were dry, which is what usually people get for white fried carrot cake. It's probably best to think of their black fried carrot cake as the white version, just not in colour.
