So Good Char Chan Teng

Cashier/Order service staff was very rude and poor service. She insist cannot order by the item number but it is difficult because my Chinese is not good. And she did nothing to assist me. I tried pointing to the menu but she just stared at me, refusing to turn her head to look. Even though there is only 1 customer in front of me, I had to wait more than 15 minutes in queue. They do not have menus available for viewing, only the big menu on the wall. However when it is your turn to order at the counter, most of the food item stated on the wall menu is not available anymore. That is what is causing a long time to make an order because customers need change order at the counter. Food is very sad too, not good taste and very salty only. Wanton is very small and noodles are clumped up. Went to the bread shop beside and the cashier there was very rude too. She was literally shouting at the customer in front of me to hurry up pay her, even though there was no one else queuing.

It is a decent fast food chain. I'm more attracted to the price. Though food is not extremely impressive, but it is good enough if anyone miss Hong Kong food. Do give the followimg a try: milk tea, duck noodles and pomelo bun.

Food is nice. Food came quite fast once ordered. Just take note that if there's a queue, there's no shelter! Luckily there is big and tall building around, so during the afternoon, sun isn't shining on the queue area :)

A very hot afternoon, lunch time at this very popular eatery spot at Ang Mo Kio industrial park. Very HongKong canteen style, queue outside under the hot sunshine, wait till you got seat then only allow you to come in to queue for your order... Hundreds of dishes in the menu, feel like eating in HongKong. Very canteen style, got your seat first, queue to order, wait number to call to take your foods, return your tray after meal... Wow... Like having meal at hawker centre. ? Anyway, that's still okay, as long as the foods is nice. Yes. Most of the foods are delicious, price slightly at high side but compared to their other branches in town like Orchard n City Hall area. This branch, some dishes is cost slightly lower. Anyway, no service charge does save a bit on total bill. Regarding the foods, Yes! Their roasted duck is delicious, and price not cheap but not that expensive too. Is reasonable, and good to order in set meal. More worthy than half or whole duck. We like their Beef Brisket noodle too, great taste and good price too. Although we do order a take away just Beef Brisket itself at $9, the portion is not much, very not worth it as compared to set meal with noodles which only cost $6.80, amount of beef brisket is quite a lots too. The most surprising and most delicious and worthy order is soft steam bread with luncheon meat and cramble eggs. That's damn delicious and authentic. Super worthy. Only $3.50 Overall, we liked their foods, although is not so affordable to visit that often, maybe once a month. We will definitely come back. ?

The food is good n yummy. Especially love the milk bun we other sugar becomes is a bit crispy at side n soft. The roast meat, duck n char siew is satisfying. Everything I picked is great.

First visit to mid view city branch. Waited prob 10 min for a table which is considered fast. Tables are vastly spaced. However the circulation of air is still not as good and the environment is quite warm. Food wise it is good. Pity that char siew is sold out by then. And the beef stew is slightly on the tough side.

Need to queue for the table and then order the food at the counter. There is no menu provided on the table so it will be best if you checkout the menu while queuing. We ordered the wanton noodle, baked rice, congee and French toast. Overall the food is good. Their bakery is just beside the restaurant.

The food quality is good but portion is small. The roasted duck is good, wanton is good too. Authentic. Wanton noodle soup is really good, better than the dried version. French toast is good too. The syrup given wasn't too sweet. Just nice. The cold tea is better than the hot tea. I wouldn't say the tea is the best. Like what others said, the aircon wasn't powerful enough.
