The yam roll is the bombs, sweet and not oily love love love the avocado fried rice with that tinge of truffle taste. The fried rice has lots of avocado chunks too. Back for the second time already.

Laksa was deliciously done with full laksa flavour and lightly salted. The assam fish tasted right even for my wife who is non vegetarian. Here for the first time today and we will be back again to savor the other dishes. Sofood, So good. See picture attached .. Need I say more ?

Delicious and affordable vegetarian food with some really unique dishes. Love the Japanese dishes and their local ones like char kuay teow and hokkien mee are a cut above the rest. There are a couple of businesses in the area serving similar dishes recently but I find Sofood still does it best. Service is good and atmosphere cosy. Location not the most accessible but it's definitely worth the visit!

If you don't know what to order, try the omelette noodles. Super awesome! A pity this place is not air-conditioned, price is a lil steep without the Aircon. Hope they install more fans for ventilation.

2nd time trying this eatery. Had the Fried Kway Teow, Louver Tofu & Crispy Prawn. Was skeptical about the β€˜prawn’ actually but it turned out to be super yummy- consisted of popiah fried in tempura style. The louver tofu looks ordinary but tasted good too- had a bite that tasted like fishcake tofu & very tasty. Owner was friendly and made the effort to explain how he would come up with different, modern takes on meatless options to attract the younger customers. Great job!??????

Got teriyaki unagi don, Unagi hotplate and salted egg monkey head mushroom. Portion is overall okay could have more for the hotplate. The shoyu egg for the teriyaki unagi don was weird. Wasn't really what i would consider a shoyu egg. The unagi and egg on the hotplate was slightly burnt. Theres a lack of vegetables on the hotplate. Miso soup was nice. I do recommend trying their unagi as it is quite different from what i had so far. For the price tags on the hotplate and don. It was rather disappointing.

Environment was quiet and homely. They had air cooler installed and lots of fan around which made the place very cooling and comfortable. Fans were not too much to blow your hair all over the place either. Food prices were mostly reasonable to the taste and portion Ordered 2 main dish to try, the hot plate cod fish rice which was dissapointing as it costs $7.90 but only with 1 serving of fish and normal rice portion that would barely be sufficient for a average grown adult. 2 slice would be more acceptable for the price. Taste would be a 6 to 7/10, sauce of the hot place cod fish goes nice with the rice but again not a filling meal and too small portion for the price. On the other hand, the chicken cullet rice was a 8 to 9/10. Rice was the legit chicken rice kind of rice instead of plain rice. Did not expect that until I took a bite. The chicken cullet was fried nicely, not oily or greasy, and came with a very touch of sauce on top of it. Sides of broccoli was cooked nicely, tasted fresh and came with a decent portion of fries at the side. It did not come with chicken rice Chilli but I checked and you can ask for Chilli to go with the rice if you're a Chilli lover. Drink price was reasonable and portion was acceptable. Drinks like tea, red date teas were available. Parking was decent and easy to find a slot. Went on a Saturday dinner and wasn't over crowded food was served within 10 to 12 mins which was ok waiting time for us. Lady wearing glasses at the shop was really nice and friendly . Ordered some take away before leaving as well for the family. Overall feels like a very healthy meal. Would rate overall as 6 - 7 /10
