The chicken stuffed with cheese was an interesting dish. I quite liked it as it had a slightly chewy texture but also the bite of the chicken. The meats were not too bad and the rice with the sides were quite appetite whetting.

We really like Turkish food and were quite happy when we came across this place. Food - We had ordered Hummus with bread, Adana Kebab, Shish Kebab and Seasame bread. We also ordered kids menu that had Chicken pide, Apple juice and choice of dessert (Rice Pudding). The meat dishes looked appeasing yet something felt missing when we actually tasted it. Maybe it was spices but overall kebabs lacked flavour. The seasame bread however was a different story........ freshly baked and topped with plenty of toasted sesame seeds, every bite was delight. A special mention to Chicken pide that came with kids menu........it was very flavourful.Rice Pudding was disappointing. Service - Very efficient, helpful and discreet. Food was served quickly too. They were kind enough to arrange an outdoor seating for us when requested. Ambience - The place is very well lit and indoor area is warm and inviting. However weather was splendid that day so we opted to sit outside where we had stunning views of Marina Bay Sands and Esplanade. Please be aware of mosquitoes if sitting out as they too love join you ? Overall, the food is not outstanding but would recommend to visit this place for a typical Turkish restaurant experience.

Nice food.. gorgeous view. However the experience was ruined at the end when the manager just come and say β€œwe need the table back” just when you’re about to finish your food. Feels like we are being chased out. Would have been better if it was mentioned right at the start that there’s a cap to the time. At that point, the price point you pay just doesn’t seem to be worth the treatment you get.

The food at this place is surprisingly authentic- tastes are comparable to the food found in the Mediterranean and Mideast. Had the salad plate with sesame bread and the grilled eggplant and chicken. The hummus was really good. The freshly baked sesame bread was a delight. The staff service was friendly and attentive.

Fast and efficient service from the staff, Maria was friendly and helpful. Had the hummus with pide. Sesame bread was fragrant. Kebab platter is generous and can probably feed more than four persons. Washed down nicely with Turkish tea. Restaurant was quite full for weekday lunch. Only grouse was host at door was sullen and unfriendly, keeps walking into restaurant and gives annoyed stares at patrons frequently.

Service: 9/10 Price: 10/10 Quality: 10/10 Overall: 200% will come back. Finding the restaurant was not difficult. We made a reservation for 4 pax and the team got back instantly to confirm the reservation. As we came earlier than our allocated timing, we were seated while our table was being set up. We were brought to our table, an outdoor corner table which had a marvellous view of the city skyline and the sunset. To our surprise, there was also a rehearsal of the NDP and we were greeted with the helicopters carrying the flag and the jets flying above us. Our waiter was a young lad, mr Taha. He gave us a wonderful service. We ordered through the ipad and then waited. Within 3 minutes, our drinks arrived and our first dishes of soup arrived within 5 mins. This is very fast despite the full house in the restaurant. Our food arrived one by one and we had a magnificent dinner as a group of 4. The food was delicious that it made me not want to go to Turkey as i found the same experience here in Sofra. What I loved among the dishes was the special Adana kebab. It was a mix of both lamb and beef and had added pistachios inside, which gave a very unique taste and smell that made me want to eat more. The lahmacun was spicy and mouth watering. The salad plate was the unwanted child and despite being delicious, we ignored the plate with the sesame bread as we were too engrossed with our mains. The restaurant managers in coats were also nice guys, checking on each table every 15 minutes to see if everything was up to our expectations. The sunset view, the city skyline and the food made such a good experience that I will be coming back for more nice vibes in the future. What I didnt like is that the food that was served were big and my stomach isnt that big. Therefore I couldnt satisfy myself fully as the food was too good to be finished.

The meal on the whole is good.. but not great. Lack of some kind of aroma in the meat. Hummus and kunefe taste good. 2 of the dips probably the eggplant dip and red pepper dip are too salty. The eggplant kebab is the best out of the 4 dishes ordered.

4.5? for the food The kebabs were juicy and well seasoned bursting with spices and meaty flavor. Favorites in our Jumbo Kebab platter are the meatballs, eggplant, chicken and lamb. Fish was a bit dry. The platter serving meant for 2 is enough for 3 small eaters in my opinion. The chicken Sofra Kebab is a must try. Perfect combo and medley of flavors from smokey baked bread stuffed with chicken, eggplant, tomato, walnut , and oozing with cheese. Another must try is the Kunefe - cheese pastry topped with ice cream. Yummy.? 4 ? ambience Get a table by the window for the best views. The tables are also quite generously spaced apart for privacy, well ventilated, bright and definitely better their old place at Shaw. 3 ? for service Service is unfortunately still barely passable with 2 staff being quite gruff and indifferent. Also took the ordering tablet off our table without asking to another table so it took some time for us to get their attention (not easy - seem to be short handed) to order our dessert with a new tablet. 5? to the boss who personally came to serve us more water and check how our night was going. ?
