Expect long wait and queue during lunch time even though it's Slightly pricey for batang fish soup. Soup is on the salty side that's for sure, drink it in moderation. - Cash only - popular with the industrial workers - $$

The Batang Fish slices are amazingly fresh. The thickness of the fish slices are perfect to me as I find most stalls slices their fish too thinly. They do have fried fish slices too but note that those are not Batang fish though it taste nice too (personal preference). The broth is clear and I believe they may have ground died fish n squid at the bottom as you can taste it if you would scoop from the bottom of your bowl. Truly yummy yumz! You have a choice of rice, bee hoon or Yee Mee or jus fish n soup. There’s also a top-up selection of prawns, fish role or fish maw. Price wise... very reasonable (hawker standard). $4-6 depending on yr order. Try avoiding going during 12-1pm... the queue may get long. I usually go between 11-1130am.

I am putting the day and time so that some of u who like to try can avoid the peak hour. 1st time trying today (Thursday) I reached 11.53am and there were already about 10 people in queue. Waited about 1/2 hour. I love fish roe and yu bao (don't which part of the fish and what its ang mo name) but the last set was taken by the guy in front of me :( Ordered a mid set which $6 as per uploaded photo. The bowl consist of fish and some vegetables. The fish were fresh and thickly sliced. Soup pretty tasteless and the mee sua was lump together. Only 3 stars as i find the hype is only on the fish, nothing else. Will i come back again? Yes, will be back to try out the fish roe and bao may be i give more stars

Super chewy and clear (not very salty) soup base. Fried fish not too nice. Go with the normal fish. Always long Q! Average $5

This is one of the best fish soup i ever had. The fish slices were very fresh, well cooked unlike other stores that are mostly overcooked. The soup has a light taste and very little MSG. The amount of fish given was also very generous! And the price were also super reasonable for the amount.

Came here at 2.05pm on Saturday. Waited about 12 minutes in the queue to get my food. Paid $5.50 for a bowl of fish soup which I thought the portion was reasonable. The fish slices were fresh and thick. The soup was flavourful but a bit too salty. Service was considered fast since it was past lunchtime.

First timer rating, I ordered Ee mian double fish soup. It was nice, the main selling point is the fried fish, it is really crispy even though it is in soup. The fresh fish and soup is nice too. Only thing I was disappointed was there is no thick bee hoon. And the Ee main was not good for me.

The fish is well cook and fresh. The soup seems light on the taste but as I order zing zai noodle it become saltier. If only they have thick bee Hoon and it would have been perfect
