I have been receiving letters from the Gas section telling me for the safety of my family , I have to let them in for the regular gas pipe inspection. I had shifted here since 2006 and have never come across gas pipe checking. Then out of nowhere it pop out regular gas pipe inspection when the city are having covid-19 epidemic. If they are really concern for my family safety then why took them 14 year to turn up. They so call regular checking period is really long - 14 year! It looks like our PAP goverment is more concern about helping the contractor remuneration then the safety of the citizen. Please have a heart on those elderly staying inside the unit. They are the most vulnerable to covid-19. Unless the PAP goverment have the intention to reduce the pioneer generation population.

I sent them 5 emails via their webpage regarding a billing error they made. They ignored every single one. I then called and talked to someone who had virtually no training or knowledge and did not help me at all. She was also supposed to send me a follow-up on our conversation--she never did. Seriously some of the worst customer service in Singapore.

If there is less then 1 star I would give it to them. The whole day I have been trying to call and ask your staff how do I add gas usage into my app but they kept saying use their live chat, but there is nobody there to support. And their call? forever never pick up. Call them multiple time but still keep on circling around and automatically ended my call. Why there is no competitor to compete with them. If there is another option I wouldn't even choose this company

Calls always doesn’t get through. It either does not ring at all or it gets cut off half way through, saying β€œwe are unable to take your call right now”. This ends up in a message leading us to use the live chat on SP Group app. Tried the live chat before but it was with an AI that has default answers so my issues weren’t solved - still needed to speak to a customer service agent which I couldn’t reach via their hotline. Wrote in before through email/enquiry form as well and didn’t receive replies despite repeated enquiry. Had to resort to writing in on Facebook Messenger before they got someone to follow up with me on the situation but by then we have solved the problem with another company. Hope SP Group can fix this customer service issue soon. Quite pointless if every call doesn’t get through, then we can’t reach customer service. Problem doesn’t get solved.

I open a electricity account for my shop. Payments were from my own personal bank account (I do not have a business account). When the shop is closed, there was an overpayment and the cheque was issued under the shop name. I called to ask for the payee name on the cheque to be changed because my argument was why did SP issued a refund not to my name but to the shop name. The lady on the phone then (as usually) cited it is a β€œcompany’s procedure”. Why make things so hard for old people like us to download form and submit it when at the first place, SP should have issued the refund to the owner and not to the shop or at least ask or confirm before the cheque was issued at the first place. This is so unfriendly service. Bad.

Extremely disappointed with the Customer service. A simple refund request for overpayment & deposit took more than a month. Yet still in process. Failed several times on timeline given by the team to resolve but end up fruitless. Had to constantly call to follow-up and try to get through to the hotline which was almost impossible to get through or call drop halfway through. Almost all times no call back from the team except for a rare 1-2 agent. Requested for superior call back on the lapse of service fell on deaf ears. Is this the type of utilities group that we are supposed to be relying on for our essential services???

Worst service ever. No one pick up the call, auto hangup, live chat, waited with 2 computers, no one response for 2 days and wrote in to ask to call back, no one call back. I guess because it is monopolise and own by the govt, they could afford to have bad service and don't care about their rating. If man power is the issues, govt can put the safe distancing officers or tray ambassadors for industry that really needs manpower , such as Singtel, SP Group, ...etc.

Their customer service literally non existent. Call forcing you to use the live chat after ton of menu, Live chat nobody picking up and keep auto terminating. Going down physically to the store is also having a superbly long queue and the staff have an audacity to serve the customer that cutting queue... Literally wth?
