โ โ โ โ โ I had a wonderful experience at the St Signature Tanjong Pagar & bugis beach. The service was exceptional and outstanding. Every staff member I encountered, were delightful and eager to help! They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I was also very impressed with how the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Thank you for the superb experience! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting St Signature Tanjong Pagar & Bugis beach !

โ โ โ โ โ Stayed here for 5nights. The room is TINY but not in a bad way. Bed was comfy and the room was always at a good temperature.
The only thing you should know is the check in I procedure. You use an app to do it and you need wifi or data. The wifi code IS in the reception area itโs just kind of hard to find but it is there.
The room we had (bottom floor) had no windows so itโs easy to accidentally sleep past noon if youโre a little jet lagged.
Good place, reasonable price, clean, quiet (our room was), and good location.

โ โ โ โ โ Stayed for 7 days here, my verdicts:
PROS:
+ Great, great location. Super close to MRT stations, also ~15 mins walking distance to Chinatown/ Clarke Quay.
+ Many good eateries nearby and some are popular ones (Ramen Keisuke, Barista Art)
+ Room is exactly as in the pictures, idk why the bad reviews say otherwise. However, some people might be uncomfortable with the small size (well itโs a premium hostel anyway). I have no problem with the size and itโs still comfortable enough for 1 person.
+ Shared bathroom & toilet is very clean and smells nice. Iโve also never encountered a time where I need to queue for a bath. There are shampoo, conditioner and soap available in each of the bathroom, and it seems to be bought from FairTrade (if you care about that as well)
+ Fairly priced. With the amount of time and energy Iโve saved due to its location and the kitchen+bathroom facilities, I feel the price is worth it (again, for a premium hostel standard)
+ This is personal preference but I LOVE the various lighting switch options here, feels very cozy
+ Communal Kitchen is nice, has microwave since I often need to reheat my takeaway/leftover food
ใผใผใผใผใผใผ
CONS:
- Bad soundproof system, the sound of doors opening & closing even across the room can still be heard. Not a major issue for me nevertheless.
- Need to request for a room cleaning service/ towel change
- No guest allowed after midnight
- Bidet toilet feels like a scam lol. They have toilets with bidet buttons but none of them really work (in 2nd floor AFAIK, idk abt other floors)

โ โ โ โ โ St Signature at Tanjong Pagar was a perfect landing for my transit through Singapore. The bed was super comfortable, the room and bath clean, staff was courteous and helpful, and the community kitchen had Miele oven, microwave, and coffee maker. The touch pad door locks provided ease of entrance and security. I did not eat at the cafe downstairs, but it looked like a good choice. The Chinatown central location was easy to find and made daily explorations for food, coffee, and shops a breeze. It would only have been easier if a MRT stop had been on the corner, but the metro and Maxwell Food Centre are literally within grasp. I don't know about the other St Signature locations, but this one was excellent in all the areas that matter: security, comfort, and cleanliness. You have to download an app for check-in and room key instructions, but it's also a messaging app and proved useful when staff booked me an airport taxi. It's a great value, and I would definitely stay here again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

โ โ โ โ โ Definitely not under the category of hotel. Iโm fine with shared bathrooms and small rooms but thereโs definitely insufficient amenities. No toothbrush, slippers, no daily change of towels. And itโs just too noisy from the restaurant outside. And the customers there comes in to use hotelโs shared bathroom!

โ โ โ โ โ A great co-working hostel, if you pay for a window.
I was here for 2 weeks and enjoyed my stay. Wifi, aircon, bed, kitchen, showers were all very good. Very clean and my room was serviced every 3 days (you have to let them know the day and time). My only complaint was it was cheaper for me to book with booking.com than go directly to them. This made my first week expensive, but I acknowledge I booked it at short notice when the prices were higher.

โ โ โ โ โ My first stay went without a hitch, once we managed to check in on the rather complicated app. Room 201 (cabin S with private bathroom) is small but well equipped, quiet and very clean. Only the sink in the bathroom showed sone chipped paint.
On our second stay, the room had not been cleaned after the last guest had left; this was rectified immediately.
Positive: Location, cleanliness, value for money compared to other hotels in the area
Negative: Difficult to use app (it did not get better on the second stay a week later)

โ โ โ โ โ If you like peace and quiet do not stay here. I was given a room right by the window and could hear nothing but trucks and sirens all day. When asked for another room I was told the hotel was fully booked and was given no option to cancel my second night or switch rooms . Would never stay at another one of these hotels again.
